1, Lock Lane are the only amateur club to have qualified for challenge cup round 3, on 8 successive seasons 1995-2002.
2, Lock Lane have played 2 challenge cup match this season winning both R1 00-16, R2 06-40, and both on the road !!!
3, Ex-Halifax player Paul Broadbent was a junior and youth ranks at Lock Lane.
4, Steve Scott has played for both club.
5, Lock Lane have won the Yorkshires County Cup 5 times (1951, 53, 55, 1972 and 1982).
6, Lock Lane was then disbanded during the war years, but was reformed again in 1947.
7, Lock Lane Junior Section reformed in 1996 and after a couple of seasons without Junior sides, now boasts 12 junior & youth teams from U7’s to U18’s. Lock Lane was the first club in the region and one of the first in the country to be awarded the prestigious CLUBMARK GOLD Award.
