Anyone there/watching it? only seen a bit tonight but thought arcade fire were stunning. i've been to every festival since 2002 (bar 200icon_cool.gif, and that was one of the best headling sets i've seen. maddest band around too (apart from british sea power that is). couldn't get a ticket this time but wish i was there despite the reported terrible storms.



metallica headline tomorrow - will be interesting. i've seen them many times and despite they being an excellent live band i'm not sure how well they will go down, but the (few) rock bands eavis has put on in the past have always gone down really well - queens of the stone age headlining the other stage in 2011 being the last one

Didn't go, but even though Metallica aren't my thing, they looked like they enjoyed it, as did the crowd.



A lot of redbutton/iplayer catching up to do, but De La Soul were fantastic, liked the look of Metronomy and am hoping Elbow were good too. The bits of Arcade Fire I saw looked bonkers but good and Dolly was excellent fun. Disclosure were supposed to be excellent too

the black keys were really good too

Metallica were superb as usual.

I thought they would have eased the middle-classes into their set with a few slower numbers but oh no - a double assault of "Creeping Death" followed by "For Whom the Bells Toll" and as soon as you heard the crowd chanting "die" "die" "die" you knew it was on!



AC/DC next year anyone ?

Metallica suck ass, always have, disliked them in 85 still dislike them now

When do tickets for next year go on sale? Or can you register for tickets for next year?
