That's the $64000 question mate to me he look's done!!
Maybe if he played shorter stint's in a better team sharing the workload??
Who know's i like the idea of giving kirke a run at prop if he can maintain his impact.

I believe so yes, Coming back to Yorkshire around family and friends could be a big deal for him and reuniting Stuart Fielden & Jamie Peacock could be a stroak of genuis IMO...

Like you say in a team sharing the workload and giving the man shorter stints i believe Fielden has more to offer than what he is showing now, I like Ian Kirke aswell but some of our Props aren't pulling there weight at the minute...

I hope so because he hasn't done anything wrong not to merit a return to the First Team and personally i'd leave out Matt Diskin and Start Danny Buderus i genuiely believe that Danny Buderus starting and Paul McShane coming of the Bench can be a very good partnership and they would compliment each other, Will probably find out later in the week if he's in with a shout...

| On a loan deal it could be a good move. they guy is a good player, who only 2 years ago was considered the best forward in SL. You don't lose that talent, but he probably just needs some focus

| Could also give peacock some game time in the 2nd row, running a bit wider & causing a bit of the damage missing at the moment.

Not quick enough across the ground and his lateral movement in defence isnt good enough.
He's a prop now or at the very least a second rower who operates down the middle of the park. The latter doesn't fit the way Leeds are structured in attack or defence.

Agreed. leeds have better options for wide running 2nd rows. It would be good to see someone who would share the workload, it would certainly be better with a 3 forward bench, as both Fielden and Peacock, try to play as close to the full 80 as they can

It does but then again the market is much much bigger aswell as the salary cap!!!
So it's not so much of a juggling act plus you can have much bigger squads so it's completely different really!!

About the same ratio as GH applies to the RL team then.
Providing around half the recruitment that is necessary.

I'd bring in Fielden to aide Peacock not push Peacock into the Second Row, We'd miss his workrate in the middle of the park too much...

Thats a good call, the problem isnt with Fielden and his ability, the problem is he hates playing for Wigan, he would love to play for Leeds.

| If this rumour about Fielden wanting to come closer to home has any truth in it, and I don't think it has, I'd happily take him on a contract to the end of the season, with an option for a further two years after that.
If it came off I'd spend the next two months telling him that we believed in him and thought he still had some very good years in front of him. SF is desparately short of confidence and needs someone other than Noble to listen to. He's been coached by Nobby for 9 years now, and that's a long time for any player to have one coach.
He still has it in him, and the issues he has had over the last three years have been almost exclusively mental. I don't think he has ever really recovered from losing his mum, and the fall out in Australia with Mason etc.
Fielden, without the pressure put on him by the unrealistic expectations of Wigan, and with the right coaching, would be a positive addition in an area that we will be weak in come the end of the season.
