Bailey gets in the team week after week and has done so for the last 4 or 5 years. Now if they were simply playing him because there was no one else I think it might have been sorted out before now.

Bryn Hargreaves was retained over Nick Fozzard this year. That does not make Hargreaves a better player. Circumstances play a big part when contracts are given. Dowes was rated very highly at Leeds. It could of been the fact Leeds where offering less years and money.

Same with Sruton, im sure he left rather than you releasing him. He wanted more money.

Bailey as won things playing in a better team. Just like Hargreaves as won many things at Saints. This doesent make Hargreaves a better player than the likes of Dowes just because his got a few winners medals.

I'll make the point again slowly so you can keep up.

Leeds retained Bailey in preference to Ward, Scruton, Carvell and Dowes. Leeds judgment should be trusted on this because of the success they've enjoyed.

You don't rate Bailey. I get it. I do.

Nowt to get excited about. Your ill informed opinion won't remove him from the Leeds team just like the inferior talents of your "favourites", Dowes Thackray and Carvell couldn't.

No he wasn't. I must admit he's done much better than I thought he was since we let him go but he's still not as good as Bailey. IMO, of course. And the opinion of the Leeds management. And the opinion of the GB selectors.

Just looking at stats. It seems Scruton, Dowes and Carvell all make more hit ups and metres but less tackles (Bailey is often 3rd man in) and tackle busts.

The 1st scrap he's in there with many others from both teams.
He DOES run the ball in and he also FRONTS up to the manly pack!
Watch the game properly before spouting your bile about bailey.
As for picking on smaller players watch who the manly hard men target aswell!!

Opposition supporters prove once again why we keep Bailey in preference to the several other forwards who we have released for the benefit of RL as a whole - when they all hate a player you know you've got a good one.

And the really fun thing about Bailey is that you know that if he moved to another club he'd become their hero overnight - and yet they'll still deny it

Ryan Bailey for Man Of Steel

My only issue with Ryan Bailey is that he isn't as tough as his dad. He is, however, much better than most people give him credit for.

Bailey showed last week what he is capable of. However, one 'poor' performance and he is being slaughered again

he is a great player to have in any team,his cheap shots do him no justice, but doesnt every team have one of those players???? i know wakey has one or two... bags of potential but frustration gets the better of him at times,it is hard when things are going wrong out on the pitch

Nothing, just lazy cliches...

1. He took his shirt off
2. He niggled in the tackle (not sure what that makes each Manly player)
3. He was involved in a fight
4. He wasn't involved in a fight
5. He assisted other tacklers by being 2nd or 3rd man in

Fair enough, your entitled to your opinion, but as a hull fan you won't have seen him as often, or paid as much attention to him. I could say the same about some hull players, buit none have ever really caught the eye enough for me to note. Any that have have quickly moved on
