I'd also argue it's also pretty harsh on Sheridan who put in some great performances at times for Leeds.

Perhaps just outside the 10 year period we're looking at but without Sheridan (and for that matter Rivett) we wouldn't have won the challenge cup for a damn long time.

Bai had one good season. 2005 was a season too far for him. His effectiveness was gone.

If you're picking someone based upon one good seasons' partnership with season then Hall would win hands down.

However, I've based mine on a little more. Calderwood had several fine seasons with Leeds and his 2005 season, achieved without the luxury of playing outside Senior, was far, far better than Bai's 2004 season.

Calderwood also had a magnificent game in the 2004 GF win and scored a wonder try in the 2005 CC final to get us back in the game before/after Bai had handed it to Hull.

IMO, of course.

my lasting memory of calderwood was his @rse falling out at odsal, unfair maybe as a number of others have done as bad but not on TV.
