Agar has agreement until the end of this season, that’s it. He will not be the coach going forward. These words came from GH only a few weeks ago. Nothing has changed I understand.
If going forward our limit of aspiration is having Agar as coach then we’re in for a bumpy time. Apart from Saints, SL this year has been competitive anyone can beat anyone, a top quality coach is important to give us that edge other other teams, I don’t see Agar as the coach going forward. The players do respect him, but being respected by the players doesn’t mean he is a quality coach after the rubbish the players have served up this year

I have no issues where Sinfield sits, at least sitting with the coach in his position as DOR shows how serious the situation is, and that he is taking his position seriously.
The only other place is for him to sit in the Directors suite and that is GH domain. I don’t think KS is a guy to simply receive plaudits from the CEO of the away teams regarding our facilities that is not his style and rightly so. Give the chap some credit for standing up and being seen.

If Sinfield was sat in the directors box the very same people having a go at him for being sat with the coach would be having a go at him for not being involved enough.

Ryan Carr seems highly regarded at Leeds. dont know a lot about him but would he have a chance?

Agar and Carr for next year wouldn’t terrify me; we just need the right balance between technical input and man management. Not many coaches have both.

I think Agar could be involved next year he seems like he has a knowing look when the interviewer broaches the subject

Do you know what and I may get flamed for this - I think Agar and Carr might actually be the best for the team for next year, the squad and coaching set up has gone through so much change over the last 18 months I think maybe a period of no change and a settled set up might be the best way forward and in the long run, Agar seems well liked and Carr has done good things at Fev, as I say I’m sure this won’t be a popular opinion on here

Do you know what I've no real problem if its Carr as hes well rated and up and coming. I dont mind that. And hes homegrown which is a bonus. It's great having the likes of Holbrook but they leave to go back to NRL after a couple of years usually.

Think Carr is a good up and coming coach who's going a nice job for Fev but I think hes getting overhyped here. He spends a few days a week with Leeds helping out that's all.

But he has made a difference. That said I agree with you.

As far as I was aware it was always the intention that Furner was going to bring Carr in anyway, after it was him that recommended Carr for Fev.
