True Headingley has its flaws......but at least ours don't cost us our chance of winning the cup this year unlike Wigan having to move out during the summer when the football lot wanted to relay their pitch and you guys having to play your Cup game away from the ground where no team has beaten them this year.

Where I sit in the Carnegie Stand is the equal if not better than any seated area in all the other rugby grounds I go to.
& as for soccer stadia there's just no leg room.
How is the ground that you own - Orrell RU is it? Or are you just tenants there as well?

Weather not ideal for our style but we still have a few guys in there who know a thing or two about playing well in the wet. With the GF often a rainy night then perhaps a good reminder/lesson on what to do in wet conditions.

In the conditions I anticipate that the kicking game will be vital.
Lots of lost ball will exercise the ref; was it a knock-on, loose carry or ball steal?
As long as we get consistency it should be immaterial.

I work by Elland Road just out of the City Centre and it's bouncing down at the moment.
