After watching the Sky rerun, it was just an old fashioned bit of biff. I'm not condoning it, but RL is a contact sport, and passion sometimes spills over into handbags and fisticuffs. I'm sure the players have a drink together after the game.

FWIW, Peacock should IMO have been shown a RED, and I reckon he was expecting it when the Ref was getting the card out of his pocket.

Its great to see so much passion from the man, but he needs to keep a lid on it. Much as he doesn't want anyone challenging him in the tough guy stakes, he can win the game from the stands.

Peacock went over the shoulder, Perry didn't like it pushed Peacock after the play the ball (therefore first offence was by Perry) Peacock reacted and the rest is history.

It reminded my of the State Of Origin game from the 80's where opposite numbers would just 'have a go' with each other. They both seemed keen to do so.

Good fight. But it was foolish for Peacock to get sucked into it. They fell into a huge bear trap. Even though both teams were down to 12, I knew who were going to take advantage of the space. Leeds leaked 2 trys in the first half, and they were both leaked when we were down to 12. They were cutting holes through our defence anyway, so the extra space was only going to result in trys conceeded. Not our brightest moment.

Perry did swing a lame effort at Peacock that was just off the main camera angle, and Peacock threw one back that was less lame. This sort of thing is far less harmful than swinging arms and elbows in the tackle.
Great entertainment and both players probably enjoyed it too.

Where was the gap for Manly's first try. Stewart didn't need a gap as he shrugged off four Leeds defenders all stood within touching distance.

why would you not be bothered about him? Surely if you are not afraid of him, and don't think he could hurt you, then the professional rugby league players should be able to take the niggles and high tackles as he is so soft he would have no impact on them.
