A Quality signing for us, hopefully we have a right side attacking threat of Myler, Watkins and T.Briscoe and a left side of Lolohea, Hurrell and L. Briscoe.

Linked up well with Lolohea at Warriors in the past too.

Can not wait to see him in SL. Isn't he a right centre though? all the times I have seen him he plays right. Anyhow regardless its great to see the club finally try get fans back on side and target the right type of signing. SL needs a strong Leeds side and hopefully this is the start of better things to come. Seems Furner has some pull too

Yes whenever i have seen him play he has always been a right centre, but can't see Club moving Watkins to Left when he has always been a right centre at the club, but whichever side they play on we have best 2 centres in league imo.

The guy is an absolute monster. Should rip it up over here and I can't wait to see him play in SL. Awesome signing for you guys

Good signing, couple good forwards now and the new coach getting to grips with some underperforming underachievers and think we will go well next year.
Nobody looks exeptionally strong next year, see how Warrington go with their new halfbacks, but see no reason why we cant bounce back and be back in the mix ala warrington this year and us in 2017. But the forwards we need are now the key.

I agree, a prop and back row of quality at least away from being a top 5 team.

With play off format changing back to the old system( rightfully imo) if you want to be a serious contender in the future then you need to be finishing top 2, still miles away from that for me with this squad.

Luke Briscoe isn't SL standard so we need another "superstar" to replace Hall

How much class do you think we can get in one season i don't think we will get a replacement for Hall and with The class we will have in centres i think Both Briscoes will look good and possibly look better than they are. we need to improve our front row and second row with abit of quality now and well be back competing i hope.

Always like to have a trawl of the other teams boards when we make a signing of this magnitude, just to be nosey and see what the general opinion out there is. Lots of complimentary noises, on the player himself and the club's ambition.

Then there's the saints fans....'a poor man's Francis meli' and 'Interesting to see how it works out as his GF dont like cold weather' ‘more entertaining off the pitch, the next Gelling’ are 3 belters on there.

disagree, he looked good when he played last this season, hard player to tackle, needs to work on defensive issues, but should be good next year after full offs season, showed enough this season to give him a full year at the club, judge him after that.

Luke briscoe is ok. He works hard but looks a bit small and light to me.

In an ideal world we would replace him but as others have said, it's not a priority at this point. Handley also offers another option and perhaps even Golding so overall we are ok in that department.

Good start but we need a tough prop and a hard running back row.
With Ward being as injury prone as JJB was and Ferres seemingly always unfit isn't helped by the age of Ablett&JJB.

No use having good centres and half back if the pack is smashed every week

I think he has looked OK too seems to be a fairly strong runner an has a bit of speed, I’m not overly worried about spending big for a winger we have bigger problems ti tackle before that IMO I’m happy to give Brisco s chance for next year

Fair point though I must admit, I'm looking forward to watching a side that offers a threat through both centres. Seems to be something we see less and less in the British game but when I cast my mind back to sides I've enjoyed watching most - not just talking Leeds here - they've always been strong in this regard.

SL and especially Leeds do love big strong Centres. I can see him doing great.
It's just as I said, we are still missing a leader to guide and kick the team around the park. Will Myler or Lolohea be spending the off season learning those skills ?.

The forwards are the second biggest issue. We can cope with cuthbo being a bit lazy in defence if we are getting a roll on and he can use skills.
We can cope with injuries or abit of unfitness in Ward n Ferres if we have two good players to rotate them with. Atm it's JJB and Ablett.
Garbutt has done well and Singleton is ok. No idea on Peteru,see how he goes with a full off season and no injuries.
Mullally,Oledski,Crosby...I'm not sure on.
