Thanks again TVOC for the stats, all go to show the big fellow's durability, which is going to be hard to match whoever eventually replaces him.
I well remember those first three games when he could barely hold the ball & we wondered what we'd paid all that money for.
However, all the following seasons showed the wisdom of that bit of business, just imagine if he'd gone to Wigan or Saints instead!!
It doesn't bear thinking about.
Let's appreciate him for what he's done for the side over the last 10 years.

Yea. Still drags it up now if Keith has a bad game. It's a strange obsession.

When Keith does retire I'm sure your Dad will be different about him. Even though I'm not a Rhinos fan I can see he's been a great servant to the game and when he does retire it'll be a shame. I still remember when he chinned BJ Mather in a cup QF in 1998 and he didn't get sent off for it ( grrrr ).

Does he know keith was playing out of position??

Ah, the infamous punch on Mather. To hear some Cas fans speak now you'd think he took a machete onto the pitch and whacked him with it from behind. Still one of the most perfect punches I've seen

IIRC, Cas were all over Sheffield up to that point, with Mather having scored two tries too.

Highlights how good a player he his and how big a factor having such a dangerous strike centre has been for leeds.

Keith will be a leeds legend for many years

He seems to be an easy scapegoat at times, and a lot of non-Leeds fans have this idea that he is a greedy centre. I'd ask Ryan Hall, Scott Donald and Marcus Bai for confirmation on that last point.

He'd be the first name on the sheet for an all-Leeds side in the Super League era, maybe even for all clubs. Only Brad Godden gets within touching distance of him.

I forgot about Pratt. Senior made him look a lot better than he actually was in my opinion.

I think Pratt got a GB wing selection when playing outside Keith, which led to that unfortunate photo AP frequently used to prove how bad we were compared to the Aussie supermen.
