| When we signed Parcell I new we had a cracker and snagged a real NRL gem. The Manly fans are still in uproar that he was allowed to leave.
He is different class.

This. Golding, Hall, McGuire, Cuthbertson, Jones-Buchanan, Ward and Singleton all having season best performances against a credible opposition. A rare enjoyable performance and contest. Perhaps Leeds should have more flat weeks in training.

| Ha ha, bye bye Pies. You're not champions anymore . Can't wait to hear Phil Clarke telling us how Wigan didn't get the rub of the green and how Leeds can't possibly be champions. Maybe we can get the triumvirate of the rubber faced tramp Noble, J. P and media friendly Jon "I'm the face of modern rugby" Wilkin to tell us how Sam Tomkins really was M.O.T.M whilst mutually masturbating. Stick that up your exhaust pipe Silverback Wane !!

Great bit of business.
I admit to being a bit skeptical as i didn't know anything about him but he has far exceeded my expectations. I just hope we can get another year at least out of him before he returns back to NRL.

| Great game tonight, excellent performances from Golding, Hall, Mcguire, Parcell and Ward, Briscoe responded well and Delaney turned up well on his return. Hopefully we kick on to Grand Final, because if we get there I wouldn't back against us. MOT!!! ALAW!!!!

| The score flattered Wigan - Leeds were on a different level.
One of the best attacking performances of the season - good to see Golding getting more involved. Swapping him and Briscoe around for the catching was a very good change.
Parcell was my MOM with honourable mentions to Golding, Ward and McGuire.

| Wigan look shot the older players looked done in - Farrell, O'Loughlin, Micky and Tommy.
Tomkins always was a one trick pony and his game hasn't moved on. Williams is an enigma he is a better hooker than a half and he makes mistakes at crucial times.
On a positive Davies looks a talent and Bateman is a real work horse.
Most of all they look like a side that have gone stale and are in need of fresh inspiration.

| A massive win but an even better performance full of pace skill & aggressive defence.
Hopefully we can kick on & replicate that type of performance & effort Mags was excellent & everyone followed his lead but for me Stevie Ward went up another level.
Fair play to Mc.D i thought the 1 prop bench was a gamble we didn't need to take after ladt week but fair play it worked for us.

| Delaney and JJB took on much of the props duties and Singleton stepped up his game with Mullally giving impact from the bench. But Cuthbertson led from the front and Ward and Parcell were terrific.
With the forwards strong both in defense and putting us on the front foot in attack we were able to play our offload game to great effect.
I think the players knew they had underperformed and let everyone down last week and they showed the determination and character to make up for that. Without Garbutt and Ferris we looked more mobile too.

| We even got to see one of the finest sights the game has to offer: a Tony Clubb "attacking kick".
What's not to like?

| Wigan looked like we did against hull last week, chiefly blown apart by a quicker and stronger team. I notice briscoe seemed to be more involved in play. I presume that was macs instructions to try to recapture his form. Hall destroyed gelling, who I think has the potential to be a good centre. I suspect mr wane will be have word or two with him this week regarding tackling. Credit to wane for his after match interview , did not pull any punches regarding his teams performance. A nice gesture also from Golding to come across and shake his hand, can't be much fun for wane at the moment trying to coach a team whilst coping with crutches.

I don't see that Briscoe has put his defensive problems behind him. Wigan only put 2 kicks up and Golding made sure he got there first. We're still going to have the same issues when somebody else targets Tom.

| What a difference a week makes.
It's imperative for our chances that Hall, Parcell, Cuthbertson & Ward stay injury free.
A word of praise too for Thaler.
He stamped out most messing around at the PTB, consequently we got a much faster, free-flowing game.
Finally massive credit must go the ground staff for producing such a magnificent surface.
IMV the most entertaining & enjoyable match I've seen live this season.
Let's hope we can keep it up

| Wigan are a very 'street-smart' side. They push the boundries and test the rules, they can spoil and niggle, and push the rules about as far as they possibly can.
For the first 25 minutes last night we were on top, then we saw two or three opportunities slowed down and spoilt and we didnt get over the line, when Wigan had a spell, 10 points wasnt all that much and Wigan had weathered the storm and gone in even. It had all the hallmarks of one of those games where Wigan kept it close and ground out a win when we had plenty of opportunity to win.
Then we came out in the 2nd half and simply didnt give them a sniff. We kept on top in defence, offloaded well, and the backs began to cut through.
All in all a really good performance that ended the hopes of one of only 2 other sides who know what is needed to win a GF.

| Best Leeds performance for quite some time. There was bite and eagerness about the defence, and speed and skill in the attack. Shame it was a week too late, but let's hope they can play like that for the rest of the year, because iff they can, who knows how far it could go.

| Best Leeds performance in a long time, after McD in his own words 'left them to get on with it for most of the week'. Quite damning evidence really.

| Or you could say....great bit of management. Let the players, whom he trusts, make a response themselves, which they did. "In his own words", he went for a drink with Wardy, Cuthbo and a few other team members after the defeat to Hull and talked as blokes "Not coach and players" and listened to them talk of the disappointment of losing the game and how much it hurt. I admire that and think it shows that Macca really cares about his charges.
