You guys have no idea how cheap booze in Leeds is! I have grown up with £3.20-£3.50 a pint being normal!!

See West Cumbrian Rhino wouldnt leave his flat if that was the case up here. Its hard enough to get him out for £2 pints

The cheapest pint I have seen down south in the last 5 years is £2.50 I think. So I advise him not to move down south anytime soon!

Saying that, I shouldn't complain cos I generally get free drinks.

Free drinks cos I work in my local pub so either save the ones the locals buy me on my shifts or if my boss is feeling nice he gives them to me free anyway! Then I go to the pub over the road and the landlord gives me free drinks to get me in there more often cos they are a "rival" pub so wouldn't usually be there. Then if I go to the social club I have known the landlord there since I was 7 so get free drinks from him more often than not too!!!! Basically, small village with 3 drinking establishments and I rarely pay

No idea. But talking about not being able to eat things...was in Red Hot World Buffet tonight at the ice cream counter and the person in front of me asked the server if the ice cream contained dairy products cos she can't eat dairy!!! errrrrrr, what do you think?!

Unfortunately, yes. Although i bailed them on Friday to stand with a female 'friend' of mine, just saying like

First time I've been and only cos other people booked it. £12.99 all you can eat on Sunday evenings. Chinese, Italian, Indian, Thai, English, Mexican and probably more!! Loads of mini bite size puddings but not lots of cake. Endless ice cream too.

It was good but not exceptional. Oh and there was a service charge even though it is a self service buffet!!!!

Hope it's optional... cant be having that you know. I'm a Yorkshireman!

Ours wasn't but we were a group of 18 so maybe that is why. Seems odd to have service charge for self service buffet though!
