Put Michael Monaghan in your side and it would be a different match.....You lack a leader, a playmaker, and Monaghan is simply the best in the competition at present.

As soon as Buderus went off we completely fell apart... He really leads from front in defence especially....always on back foot now and too much panic football...basics really letting us down. Terrible. What a let down for my step -son.

Jeez, is this what I miss when im at the games? Some of you sound like you're on suicide watch. Anyone who expected us to be able to match that forward pack and make the metres in the middle need looking at. We have so many good players to come back in that a few losses early on won't bother me too much.

I'm not stating Leeds would have won if Buderus had stayed on....but what a horrible difference when he went off. Just watched the match again on sky after getting back and it wasn't even mentioned he had gone off. Why was Smith filling in ? Terrible.

The only players to emerge with any credit were Sinfield and to a lesser extent Webb. Burrow was awful, but the forwards gave no platform.

Lauititi and Hauraki should not start ( both are bench players, Lauititi especially)

AND AGAIN why is Kirke in the team at the expense of Ambler ? What was the worth in recruiting Cross ??

He's a solid, no nonsense prop who might provide more go-forward once the solid and hard ground conditions kick in.
