This is my favourite of the Super league era by far.
pre Super league it has to be the simple but lovely 87/88 shirt with the amber band and youngers sponsor. and plain white shorts.first full kit i got as a kid for Christmas so probably why i liked it so much! |

We dont and havent had a V shirt for a few seasons now since 2006.
The shirt just released is a special edition featuring the home shirt on the top half, the bottom is split between the pink away and green help for heroes shirt. Its and end of season championship keepsake that we seem to have introduced at the end of every season. Its not gonna be played in.
Ive not got the pink and steel shirt myself but looking around I think its been a big seller.'"

On the players' shirts there doesn't appear to be any difference in tone of the Leeds BS logo and the amber band? (is this different on the replicas?).

I take great exception to the implication that we ripped off the Lost Loiners
being a founder members of the Loiners Guild Touch Rugby on the old training pitch on Tuesday evenings from the old changing rooms under the South Stand.
Barry Adgie had to set the old baths running before we went out at 7pm so they would be full when we finished at about 8.30pm.
IIRC this predates the then Leeds (Loiners) team coached by David Ward and Norman Smith and we regularly had Loiners players like David Heron and Roy Powell (RIP) joining in for a run out.
Stuart Duffy was a regular as well. He would often to warn newcomers that I sold more dummies than Mothercare.  |
