I agree with the sentiment though Sir Kev has been a great ambassador for RL and with his longevity at the top I think he is overtaking Farrell and Scully as the greatest SL player of modern times.

This truely is a record-breaking time for the club and this excellent group of players - both good and not so good, that is if reaching finals can ever be termed as such. I'm sure there will be plenty of other teams who would just like to make a final ..... any final.

The pain was less in 2007 - 2009 than 2010 - 2012 but as you said earlier, we forever live in hope that it will be our year!

Did you not see the tv interview or read the articles ? He's a politician in preparation. Great player, great guy by all accounts, but when he plays politics in public as he did pre match, he sticks his head above the parapet, so ' jog on' with knobs on !

Thought the Sinfield interveiw was very interesting,it was in the daily telegraph he commented on the fact that when he retires he will have to get a job the same as anybody else. He is taking a masters degree at Leeds Met university to help him when he retires. Should imagine he will make a good coach or manager. He is obviously an intelligent bloke with political views ,why not try your hand at politics. Should imagine he would be better than some of the idiots who are in power at the moment.

So he has opinions and is articulate enough to put these across he shouldn't be mocked for doing he should be applauded. As mentioned above he would do a lot better than the current set of scumbags.

I expect sinfield burrow and McGuire all to stay at Leeds in various roles

A Leeds ledgend made in Oldham! Under appreciated by alot of people, but it's been a privilage to watch him play all his career at headingley.

Thankfully, not everyone who plays RL sounds and acts like they can't string two sentences together. It seems that some fans would much rather watch players who were all as thick as Gareth Hock, Ben Westwood and the Tompkins brothers.

I can't agree with anyone who idolises Che Guevara, although I would regard myself as socialist. But he's entitled to hold whatever views, and he's entitled to discuss them if people ask him to. It isn't as if he called a press conference specifically to tell us his views.

On the subject of Westwood (who is a machine, by the way), I was talking to a Wire supporting mate on Sunday, who said Ben Westood "doesn't know the meaning of the word quit. Literally."

Made me chuckle.
