These commentators are worse than ours. What that hell was that idiot just on about with the 8 point try. He could have punched him after scoring and it should not have been a further penalty.

I think he did not have control, but agree about what the other guy said... I think he was just getting a little bit too literal with the rules about you can only give a penalty while in the act of scoring, he stuck the boot in the fact the video ref ruled he had scored it a split second earlier is balls!

Waterhouse deserved to go for that but arguably Price brought it on himself by carrying on the fight. Pity it caused the try to be wiped off because it had taken some scoring.
The game though showed the difference still between the NRL & Superleague, pace, size, conditioning & fitness.
I can't see how we can make this up with the difference in the off season, got to agree with Pecock on that.

Presumably waterhouse was deemed to be the guy responsible for Price being stretchered off.
If you meant the yellow for the sinbinning of Creagh it was for pushing/hitting(?) one of the Maroons players then running away like a little kid. Great try that he scored though I thought.

Price looked out before Waterhouse got there.

Hodges was hilarious in the aftermath though. Reminded me of Barrie-Jon Mather at Castleford in '98.

SOO has gone soft if those last two minutes are anything to go by, a sending off and two sin-binnings for virtually nothing.

Most entertaining game of RL I''ve seen in a long time. Price got KO'd by the other lad before Waterhouse got anywhere near him, deservedly so as well. Thought QL got very dirty once the game was up.

What a daft lad that was pretty funny

Waterhouse was done for being third man in, and the fact he grabbed Price around the neck when the guy was already out cold on the way down probably has something to do with the crowd's ire.

Anyway, sets up the series for next year very well.

One thing tonight showed - again - is that whilst Qld have the edge in the backs (Williams was again very very poor), the NSW pack is generally superior, especially in the back row.
