As a Saints fan I'm not inclined to want either Leeds or Wigan to win anything this season but so far you haven't impressed at all. And last night you looked rubbish. The only rubbish thing about Leeds last night, however, was their finishing. They crossed your line five times in addition to the tries they scored but fluffed each occasion. You should be thanking the rugby gods for a very, very lucky night rather than making yourself look a tit. Had Leeds clicked in their finishing, Wigan would have been mullered.

How long do you wish Danny McGuire's injury to last for? Do you wish another injury upon him? Or are you hoping for "poetic justice" to strike upon someone else? Paul McShane committed a foul last night, should he receive a long term injury?

When Wigan gained some momentum, as they were always going to get at some point, they challenge Leeds concentration. unfortunately the build up to tomkins try saw Mcshane come out of the line off side so pulled out with no push from the inside defence which set up farrells break, poor defensive positioning from JJB for the Prescott try. Finally poor line adjustment from the whole unit in the build up to the levelling penalty. Those minor adjustments were the difference.

I don't, I never did and I wouldn't wish injury on anyone (except maybe Leon Pryce or Keiron Cunningham who've been responsible for so many injuries through their foul play). Maybe you should read your quote (wrongly attributed to someone else, apparently). Poetic justice would be where someone partakes in foul play and comes off worst off. For instance, someone goes for a high tackle and hurts their arm instead. At the time I wrote that, no-one knew the extent of Danny's injury. He committed a foul, appeared to be hurt, but I had no idea he'd be out as long as he has been. On the other hand there's Pat Richards, a compartive gentleman of the game who concedes less than 1 penalty every 5 games, and never been sin-binned or sent off since he came to Super League (possibly his career before that too, I haven't checked), whereas McGuire (and Peacock) average nearly a penalty every 2 games, and have been sin-binned twice. Injuries are part and parcel of the game, you can get injured taking an apparently harmless kick like Pat, or you can get injured while committing (or indeed receiving) foul play.

So you can pretend I wished an injury on Danny McGuire, or you can get real and admit that wasn't what I wrote at all. The quote is in your signature, in case you want to refer to it.
