I agree with most of that!I feel bluey will let the newbies like delaney, Eastwood and Amor Know if they wanna play they are gonna have to earn it! I felt buderus left bluey little choice last season in having to make him first choice, the newbies will have to do the same. I think the lads as a unit are smart enough to see when a player has earned the shirt!

The important thing about a rotation policy is it needs to be a genuine one - you can't go 'resting' Diskin and not Buderus for example. I suspect even the thicker players would realise what was happening then.

Surely we're forgetting one simple point.That being that Buderus is an overpaid past it import who's going to be out for most of the season injured.So therfore,Diskin will be first choice hooker anyway!!!

With the rigours of normal RL, I'm not sure a rotation policy will be needed, what it will mean is that when a player is injured we have a stronger replacement in there.

It means that players are less likely to be needed to play with knocks. These things happen throughout the season, there is pretty much a certainty that you will never have your whole first choice squad available.

All great points but i think with a coach like bluey we shouldn't have any problems.

The problem comes if we get knocked out of the cup early again. That helped the squad last season but would make BM's job harder this season unless we suffer a few injuries.

Yes, I'd imagine I do.

It's a position McClennan will want to be in and it's a position I want him to be in also with a surplus rather than a shortage of players at his disposal. (It was the position he expected to be in in 2009 anyway before fate took a role)

It only becomes a difficulty when everyone is fit and available anyway which is what having a good squad is all about.

Its all part of a rotation master plan (similar to Football) where we'll have one team for the Super League and another for attempting to at long last win the Challenge Cup

will the rhinos have 2 separate squads for each competition next season,or will the cream of the crop rise to the top?
i would suggest that if all of our squad was fit,and we did happen to make both finals,that the squads would be almost identical in both finals

why was the number left blank some seasons?

It probably was allocated at the time but if that player didn't play the following season (for whatever reason) I've probably deleted that column from my appearance list.

2006 - Maybe given to Danny Ward but he got sacked before getting to wear it that season
2007 - Likewise only Jamie Thackray this time
2009 - Greg Eastwood obviously failed to sort his Visa out

We had his shirt and everything ready last season. Would be nice to see him finally pull on a Leeds Jersey!
