targeting them both and pulling of a win in both are two different things and recent history shows that no club has been able to do so for the last six seasons (unless huddersfield or, even more far fetched, Wire win the GF this year).

leave it where it is so that the "lesser" teams (with all due respect) have something to focus on while the big boys line up a GF. One of the best CC final in years why mix things up?

This year was not typical though, quite the opposite.

Assuming Peter Smith hasn't just made it up, it appears to be a direct quote from Francis Cummins on the said rumour doing the rounds. What people read into it is a matter for themselves.

Personally I take it at face value.
