And before anyone says, yes it’s grim, yes Abdul is a good kicker…but he’s not even attempting to catch.

My issue is that the game plan doesn’t recognise the limitations of the players. We still have a lot of sub standard players, but the coach is trying to change how the whole game is played. They’re just not up to that, and Smith needs to recognise it.

the forwards decide who wins games.
our forwards don't compete and aren't aggressive. they are obviously being told to do that. smith is rapidly looking like a fraud

Wont spend too much time on Olpherts, pretty clear he's rubbish, but the p*ss weak defence thats let them march up field to get into position to launch the bombs every single set is absolutely pathetic.

So the scoreboard isn’t out of reach, but we must stop making mistakes. We’re not giving ourselves a chance, that’s mostly down to the errors, but this game plan of passive first half to save energy for the second is a massive gamble to take every week. Better players than our current ones would struggle with it.

I doubt he's to blame for lack of aggression from the forwards.

I didn't think we could be any worse than the first half last week, but we've managed it.
Totally abject display. No passion, no aggression, no organisation. Literally nothing.
We've allowed a very average team to totally dominate us and play the entire game in our half.
So many individual mistakes, but you have to question the tactics the team are instructed to employ.

Terrible conditions and must be a tough night for the back 3 catching the kicks, but I agree with others, letting them march us downfield every set is poor. Can't do that anytime but in this weather its a shocking tactic.
