I really can’t see us losing again this season.

If you look at our points difference this year and a few Agar performances, certainly grounds for optimism next year again.

Still don’t think we’ll be contenders but we should be better than this year overall.

Can’t wait to see progression from the young lads.

Well it must be said that's a surprise result and a great way to finish the season. Lui was superb. He will be better for a full off season with the boys. Credit where credit is due Agar got em up for it. Send them into off season with a real feel good factor. Big big result that imo

That was very good. The performance so committed. Big difference with that dummy half passing at the end with Johnson on. Not going to critisize anyone as they put it out there, but some dummy half passes were poor. Christ even Briscoe came up with two outstanding try savers. What a difference Wardy makes to the team, and Donaldson was brilliant.

I think the threat of relegation has hampered the side a fair bit, we played with energy and speed in both attack and defence which we haven’t done for most of the season, looking forward to seeing more of Johnson his distribution from DH was leagues above dwyers even in the short spell he had

Agreed an Johnson, I don’t then ni it was coincidence that we scored shortly after he came on

Donaldson was excellent

We need to stay realistic - but if we do land Gale, and if Holroyd can come back for next year, and Johnson can develop from what we’ve seen here... we might look something like.

Aside from T Briscoe we should have a 100% healthy squad for the beginning of 2020, some competition for places too.

Johnson's passing was very good ,I was surprised by his size he looks ready now.

Johnson really has a complete game, terrific prospect. If he works hard this pre-season there’s no reason he can’t play first grade next year with Dwyer. I think he’s about there.

The transformation is happening isn’t it? Already Walker,
Newman, Oledzki, Holroyd, Smith and now Johnson.

Plenty more knocking on the door - keep the seniors on their toes.

Great way to finish the season, especially considering that we were missing our best prop. Lui was excellent and I thought he combined well with Myler, one swallow doesn't make a summer, but a glimpse that maybe they could become an effective partnership if they are together next season.
Johnson did well in the short stint he had, shame he didn't get a bit longer. Would be a gamble to start next season with only him and Dwyer mind. If Lunt was fit but not selected it makes you wonder if he will be released.

Agree about Lui had his best game for Leeds great hands and put some big hits in.

I did say it depends on which Warrington team turns up well their fans are having a meltdown on their board.

I think it goes to show, RL is very different to football in that the team is much greater than the sum of its parts. They seem to think that because they’ve a flash owner it’ll translate into trophies.

No bigger champion of Corey Johnson on here than me and I was delighted to see him get a chance, it should have happened a long time ago and he should have have had 5-8 games off the bench already. Let's calm down tho, hes played 12 mins of Super League. Hes 18 and hes not physically ready for week in and week out of Super League

We need a top class number 9. Corey is a level headed lad, hes going to be a good player for a long time for us and hes going to play a lot of games for us but hes not there yet. He did all that could be asked of him tonight though and well done to him. Believe me there are plenty more good kids like Corey desperate for a chance.

Thought Lui was good tonight, shame our starting 9 keeps throwing the ball to his ankles tho. He controlled the team well tonight.

Ward is sensational but we have to be careful with him. Expecting him to play 80 mins after such a long lay off isn't sensible. Martin, Ward, Merrin feels like a solid back row for next year.

Walker was used to link into the line more tonight and that needs to be developed more in the off season.

Agree with this. Dwyer is an impact hooker with a poor pass, he needs to be on the bench with a proper hooker starting at 9, if none are available we need to keep Lunt.

Martin, Ward and Merrin are all class, if the 3 of them stay fit and injury free next season we will go well.

Dwyer doesn’t need to be on the bench. Johnson needs to be on the bench (where the tactic is two hookers). We need a quality top class hooker to bring along Johnson.

Dwyer doesn’t fit into that and we should be more ruthless. Most of his game is exciting and good to watch, but he can’t get the fundamentals right. That luxury is something we can’t carry.

The best performance by a halfback since McGuire left imo. That may not be saying much, granted, but we looked an organised team last night, especially in the second half.

I agree and if we cant find a nine I would go with Lunt and then bring on Johnson.If he starts to tire then rest him for a few games and bring on Dwyer.Dwyer really needs to work on his passing if it wasn't for Lui's good hands we have knocked several times in good attacking positions.

I think Corey could make a contribution at first grade next year. Not 80 mins every week of course but in spells - he needs a hard pre-season and then we’ll see.

Guys we are going to have to live with some imperfections next year, I’d get used to the idea. Take comfort in the fact that we are in far better shape now than we were, and the squad had lots of realistic potential to improve.
