I've heard that he is on less money - they have reduced his wage but agreed to pay him in 1 pence coins so that he can beef himself lifting and carrying the bags about. There are concerns that RH is wasting away a bit and a bit too trim.

Just hope this isn't at the expense of losing Watkins. Would rather have put any extra money in Watkins to keep him.

watkins will leave if its his desire to accept the challenge of the NRL and to sample the lifestyle changes,a bit of spare change here or there on offer from us wont be able to stop that.however, if like Hall he is happy to pick up a decent comfortable salary and stay at leeds im sure a good package will still be on the table for him when the time comes.

I really hope he stays but feel he will have out grown our competition by the end of his deal and move.

Watkins will be offered millions to go to either the NRL or Union within, I'd guess, no more than a couple of seasons.

OT but he's being discussed on here, Watkins is immense. Developing into the best player in the league.

I said after the World Cup that he was the nearest thing in SL to Greg Inglis. Not seen anything this year to make me change my mind.

Certainly the only player in that competition with who was able to keep GI quiet.

Two from kicks and one from a Ward pass that didn't give him any room.

Ward gave him around 3 metres of space, Ward held his defender and was running straight he then put Hall one on one with his opposite winger who was not quite flat in the defensive line. That's the sort of scenario Hall will finish off more times than not. As soon as he received that pass from Ward I thought - try.
There is a world of difference between receiving a pass like the one Ward gave him and getting the ball from a centre who is drifting sideways and doesn't fix the defence so you get ball and the defender/s at the same time.

I thought it was a very good piece of centre play from Ward. Have to say it was probably the only bit of decent centre play from him. Still unsure why we didn't just put BJB there. I can't imagine Briscoe was tired.
