You wasn't watching NRL tonight and I think that is what you expect all the time

If Kirke had Moore's playing style, he'd walk off every week as one of the best forwards in the league.

Moore on the other hand is just too small to offer any real impact. He always gives 110% but just lacks the physical presence to do anything with it.

And as for Kirke, he was a passenger tonight. How anyone of his size can get knocked around like he did tonight!

I mean, come on, he even moaned to the papers about how the iPitch hurts last week.


Remember at Widnes last year when we were chatting before the game and I made a tongue in cheek comment that Kirke would be the only player to run out in skins just joking around? What happened 10 mins later! He did and was!

I respect all Pro RL players, but he does steal a living.

I expect professional Rugby League players to be able to do the basics. Tonight, neither team were capable.

People keep saying how the top 6 teams could compete in the NRL. Well, tonight both teams would have had 50 put on them by Parra!!

For me quality wise it was one of the worst games i've seen all season and the handling errors from both teams were appalling, Leeds should have won and had it not been for Zak Hardakers goal-kicking they would have, Warrington were terrible throughout but Leeds did well considering the injuries pre-game and during.

Although I thought for the purists the game was shizen I am very encouraged by the effort of the younger players and think our team has a very good future.If I was sinfield I would be worried suttcliffe is gunna be a right player does not look good for him internationally he's not even the best 6 in our team never mind England . Also kirke tonight really give everything he had but I can't understand how a man that size can be so easy to drive back.

Can we just clarify one thing. There are some people bemoaning the overall quality of the game, and there are people praising the effort and performance (in the circumstances) of the leeds team. These are 2 seperate things.

Oh, and just to show I'm not having a go for the sake of it, Foster's defensive work rate (and size of his balls when Moz ran at him) really impressed me tonight.

Watkins, when he was given the ball, was good also. They just need to pass him the ball more than 5 times a game. If we went right as much as we go left we'd score a heap more points.

I thought it was a poor quality.game overall but not too disappointed. It means little in the grand scheme of things. We will be away to one of the current top 3 in week 1 and are more than capable of winning when it matters.

Seriously though, the reason we had to put so much effort in was down to the mistakes and poor kicking game. I appreciate Sinfield and McGuire are out, but Burrow was average beyond believe tonight, both with ball in hand and with his boot. He needs to stop running up blind alleys 20 metres out when he has 3 on 2 outside him.

I have never defended Kirke! Bailey and Achurch, yes. But Kirke is below average and I have always said that. I have said he has the attributes to be a top forward in the game, but I haven't wanted him in the tea for years!

Leeds pack was severly weakened and with mcguire and sinfield out it was much easier for warrington to pressurise burrow when kicking.

The team was completly out on their feet at the end. Your criticism of the leeds team tonight is frankly a disgrace. The simple fact is they did great in the circumstances.

Leeds were below par? What, missing first choice 6 and 7 and majority of the first choice pack whilst going down to 2 subs for more than Half the game, no?! Never! People are talking like we had a team full of 16 year olds playing! We had our 1st choice 3/4 line, a "Harry Sunderland award winner and player of the series against NZ nearly a decade ago" playing in his "best" position and the future of the game at 6. We had experience in the pack, even when we picked up the injuries.

No wonder the crowds are down in general. A 3rd v 4th tie, no matter who's playing, should be of a much higher quality than what we witnessed tonight.
