2003 - I'd love to know the combined crowds over the five fixtures, including Cardiff. All were sell outs (Cardiff may not have been, but the league encounters were?).

Losing to Bradford at Headingley in 2004 and feeling so deflated, thinking it wasn't to be our year again, typical Leeds falling at the last barrier. Step up 40-12 vs Wigan, and a grand final victory over the Bulls.

Harris' return to Headingley when we HAMMERED Bradford, and being out performed by the new number 6, Danny McGuire, who probably peaked in 2004. Good times.

Interesting (to me anyway) to note we haven't played Bradford in the cup since the loss at Cardiff.

I have painful memories of the old Bradford Northern always steamrolling the more flamboyant Leeds teams with dour and boring, but effective, forwards. Next to Hull they were always the team as a young(ish) lad that I hated the most.....

Oddly (for me) I wasn't at all down beat after that loss. I knew we would beat Wigan the following week. I was still as nervous as hell in the final, but I just knew we'd get there. We were the best I've ever seen us be in 2004.

The atmosphere for Harris's 1st game back was absolutely banging and Mags played him off the park. Was it 99' with a young Chev Walker when we were narrowly beaten at Odsal and there was over 24,000 there? Were like sardines in there that night.

I was like No36. After the disappointment of 2003 I felt like it was happening again, yet would be even worse after the amazing season we'd had not to reach the Grand Final. The 2004 final was the most nervous I've ever been at a game! I can remember screaming at Senior to "keep hold of the bloody ball" just as he offloaded to McGuire

fortunately he didn't listen to me.
I swear the stand was shaking when everybody went crazy as McGuire dived over the line. It's one of those moments that I'll always remember.

I was talking to Mathers the week after the final after a few beers in town and said apart from my daughter being born it was the best night of my life and he was quite shocked and said that's a big statement to make but it meant that much to see Leeds win their 1st title in my life time.
