As I said before, I'm glad you don't make the decisions. Burrow might never have got the chance to represented his country.'"
You're good with suppositions.....and .....err....not much else really.

| Burrow looks to be in better form now. When he is he's a very dangerous player. He'd be a better halfback - IMO - if his first instinct was to pass and then look to run only if the pass isn't on. McGuire until last season did the same. With Sinfield in the side its an aspect of both our halfbacks' play which hasn't needed to be polished - and the same with general kicking game. When they're all fit and on form I wouldn't want to replace them with anybody, as they do work as a unit.
FWIW I've always liked Brough as a player, in part because he seems to be a cocky get. Maybe its just me, but the best British halfbacks I've seen have always seemed to have that edge of cockiness.

Bingo. That is the bottom line.

It's wrong.
Watch the try Burrow scored Friday. Look at his first instinct when he receives the ball. He looks left. Nobody within cooee before Senior walks into frame, completely dis-interested in making himself available.
He goes back right, looking for options but everyone is stood around having a mother's meeting. Nobody makes themselves available as a runner.
So, he takes on the line and scores a try very few players in this league are capable of scoring.
IMO, Burrow's first instinct is always to look to pass. That he is so willing to and effective at taking on the line is a real plus.
Under McDermott's coaching philosophies I can actually see Burrow flourishing.

Yet he has been selected to fulfil the role under numerous coaches at club and International level since c2002, coaches who have a lot better understanding of the game than you.

I'm not sure that you're totally correct, Pitts I think makes a half hearted effort to accept a pass from Burrow but he is standing still so Burrow took it upon himself nto make the play.

Of course ....you have to practically be a genius to understand the complexities of the game. All those wasted cold curers and large hadron collider workers....drawn by the greater intellectual demands of RL.
Considering Burrow's stature where else do you think he might figure, unless at scrum half ?

Surprised you have not started a campaign to bring Watkins back early from injury at LC while Keith is injured!!!

| i'm sure i saw brough chase down scott donald a couple of seasons ago so he must have some serious pace [ luckily scotty offloaded just as brough got there and we scored
broughs high kicks with the way he manages to get so much spin on them used to have me worried every time but i'm not convinced about his long kicking game
one other drawback is that a few wakey fans i know claim he's obnoxious off the field and that might not be good at international level, he's got a history of dissent too that might be a liability

Now there's an erudite idea .....actually Delaney is - at last - looking to pass to his winger much more than usual and appears to be not quite such a bad option (for the moment).
Normally I would advocate Ablett over Delaney, as the least worst option of the two, at centre....but Ablett has now done enough to cement his position at LF (I have stated that [iis[/i his best position for a long time).
Leave him where he is now IMO......
...either bring in Wilson; or move Hall inside and bring in Chisholm (pace would certainly be the pertinent assett against Warrington)....OR drop Ali back to LC.
He pretty much plays down that channel anyway. It could also sustain his fitness for a longer period ...away from the debilitating 'engine room' !!
Incidentally you should not discriminate (against tripe in this case). Embrace it. Enjoy life
