| Mickleson at -2. Lucky to post that score as he was spraying the ball off the tee. If he gets his driver sorted then could be there or there abouts.
Donald's back 9 was fantastic. Needs to consolidate it today.
Garcia: wouldn't have seen that coming but can he hold it together for another 3 rounds? Not been the most consistent over the last 2 years
Quiros/Mc Ilroy. Great start can they avoid the wheel coming off. Rory has previous at St Andrews last year.
Out of my bets Mickleson is my leader. How is everyone else fairing?

Kutcher played solid and is there or there abouts, Garcia did really well just hope he can hold it together and at least be there all weekend. Quiros I dont think will hold it together and I agree on Donald, great back 9.

You get to see all the slopes and angles that you can't see on normal tv. To be honest I would say it's probably one of the best sports to use for 3D. Personally I can't see the point in watching football or even rugby league in 3D if I'm honest, if I wanted to watch rugby league in 3D I would just go to the game, I can't just go to Augusta(nobody can unless your a member or past champion)
Let's be honest it sounds to me like you don't like golf by what you have just said so you would not be interested in watching it in 3D, people who like golf(quite a lot of people) obviously will.
I have never understood why people go on other sports threads to moan if they are not interested in the sport themselves, I could go on the rugby union/horse racing/wrestling/NBA threads to tell people how sjit I think those sports are but what would be the point?

| Rugby League in 3D is only good for the hits really, you can't see much of any running.

And it's probably cheaper to go to the game?
Not sure how much a 3D t.v/subscription is but I'm guessing you could buy quite a few season tickets for the same price so to me it is pointless because the season tickets will last longer, unless your a millionaire like Mr Wheels and buy both obv.

Whilst I totally agree with what you're saying, in principle,
What we have at the minute isn't actually 3D is it. Just the illusion of 3D.
You can't rely on any of the images for any sort of Physics. The slope you're seeing, whilst it looks beautiful and all that, won't help you determine how fast the ball will roll or anything like that. The cameras aren't measuring the depth, curvatures, angle & camber of the slope. It's just filming it from two slightly different angles and overlapping the images. Same with the depth perception. You wouldn't be able to use the images to accurately determine how far from the pin the ball is. Well, not with any level of accuracy anyway.

No mate that's Ryo Ishikawa, Yang was the one that beat Tiger Woods to win the USPGA in 2009 (the only time Woods has ever failed to win a major when leading going into the last round)

| Colin Montgomerie's accent is getting even more weird by the minute, during his repeated words I can hear his Scottish, Leeds and "posh" southern England accent all mixed into one!
Nothing will beat Graeme McDowells American/Northern irish twang though
just me that can hear it?

| Rory finishes -10 after 2 rounds and has been excellent, he has missed quite a few holeable putts though in the last 2 days that he may well look back on if he doesn't go on to win, but now is when it get's tough but I hope he can do it it will be great for the European golf. Tiger as I type is -6 and playing absolutely superb in patches, when he takes a 3 wood from the tee and/or just swings normally he looks unbeatable but when he tries to leather it and miss the fairway more often than not he is struggling, makes you wonder just how many more tourneys he could have won if he had just played like this for the last few years cos he hasn't been that far away no matter what the media will tell you!
The player I am most impressed with so far is Jason Day, not only is he -8 and 2nd at the moment but after 11 holes yesterday he was +3 and looked like he was going to miss the cut, he had 4 birdies in a row just after to give himself a chance and then today has just blew the course away.
Should be a great weekend

| Tiger is now 3/1 favorite. Shame I missed his round today.
I tell you what will help both Day and McIlroy tomorrow though... the fact they were both in the same group the 1st 2 days whereas being with Tiger may have added extra pressure.
