Quote ="LS16_Rhino"OK so for ease of maths lets say your season ticket cost £200.
5% discount each year £10 x 4 = £40 (as the price is frozen)
Long bar pass £50 x 4 = £200
10% rise in annual Season ticket price:
Year 1 - £220
Year 2 - £242
Year 3 - £266.20
Year 4 - £292.82
Total saving = £221.02
Total financial benefit over 4 years (with an estimated 10% per year rise in season ticket price) = £461:02
Cost of 4 year ‘Rhinos 4 Life’ upgrade = £416.
Total offset saving = £45.02
Annual saving = £11.25
…or am I missing something?'"
If, as you say for ease's sake the price is £200, why have you said the year one price is £220? surely the year one price is £200.
The way I see it, using your figures is:
Years 1-4 with Rhino's con
£190 season ticket + £104 con = £294
£294 x 4 = £1176
Year 1 without Con - £200 season ticket + £50 Long Bar Pass = £250
Year 2 without Con - £220 season ticket + £55 Long Bar Pass = £275 (inc 10% rise on both season + long bar tickets
Year 3 without Con - £242 season ticket + £60.5 Long Bar Pass=£302.5 (inc 10% rise on both tickets)
Year 4 without Con - £266.2 season ticket+£66.55Long Bar Pass=£332.75 (inc 10% rise on both tickets)
£250 + £275 + £302.20 + £332.75 = £1159.95
Which leaves £16.05 in my pocket.
