Who has suggested that? I don't know if it was aimed at me but I called the first half embarrassingly poor. I was talking about this game in isolation. If the 2nd half performance was the same as the first half we'd have lost and the players played like they realised that and the half-time talk was obviously very effective. I don't think we should be putting 60 unanswered points past Salford but I know we're better than that 1st half.

It's perfectly understandable for us to be below par for most of the season, that's accepted now, but based on the standards this team has set, the 2nd half was probably what we would call below par (maybe that's a bit harsh, but I still think there's more in reserve) and the 1st was terrible.

That doesn't for one minute change the fact that I believe we can win the GF again, and I imagine the same goes for most on here.

I was stood to the left hand side of the posts halfway to the touch line & didn't notice anything too offensive.
The constant shouts of "forward" whilst initially faintly amusing quickly became tiresome with constant repetition.
I swore to myself on numerous occasions when we dropped the ball or gave way stupid penalties (Burgess!!) but didn't notice any racist or unPC singing.

TBH i thought the Leeds away support was well behaved and mustered up some noise as the game went on, we were even greatly missed at that splendid pub called the weaste, "where are all yer fans today?" they wailed, between sups of beer.

I never heard any racist dittys or homophobic chanting. Probably coz there was hardly any noise being generated at all for large periods of the game.

Maybe it was the Delaney chant that had whoever it was that was moaning having a go. It made me feel sick that.

But his good work was un-done with sloppy hands, both with ball in hand and with hands round Salford players' chops.
