You should be an MP - the initial post was 'we finished third not forth'. Then some dude said 'no Leeds, Saints, Wigan and Catalan were the top four - you finished 8th'. Then I pointed to the Superleague which clearly and I mean VERY clearly says we finished 3rd.

Hence we finished 3rd. We may have played like we couldn't score in a month after losing key players towards the end of the season, but the record books clearly state. 3rd.

As the top three finishers in Leeds, St Helens and Huddersfield all lost to Salford once in the regular rounds in 2009 I think they'll also be able to claim the same two points that went begging, maintaining the status quo.

I don't think there is any secrete about it! a real 4 pointer! if we lose it's no big deal it's how the team is going in the last 3rd of the season but it's a game that will get us infront of a team arounds us!

You are right I suppose. You did finish third in the qualifying competition. However, in the Championship itself, you did not.

This is a much bigger game for Huddersfield than Leeds - the only other contender side the Giants have played was Warrington and they managed to get beat at home. If - and it is a big if - Leeds turn them over on Sunday it could really dint the Giants self belief.
