There have been reasons that he hasn't kicked on.

The continuing changing of offensive coordinators, a lack of receivers, poor offensive line play, conservative play calling. He's run out of excuses now. He has to produce or he will be gone. I suspect he knows that.

To be fair I like the receivers we have but we do lack depth there.

Always look decent on paper do Bengals but don't deliver... good to see so many NFL fans on here though !

Anyone got the New Madden? If so, thoughts? I absoloutley love it. IMO best yet, feels a bit more of a sim than seasons gone bye.. if only they'd make an RL game like it...

I agree. Franchise mode works really well. You have to mess around with the sliders a fair bit to get the gameplay balance right still though.

It's a great game isn't it. Think i first watched in it's channel 4 days. There's a lot of followers of it in this country, tends to be a lot of Rugby supporters as well from either code.

I think some of the American's would appreciate RL as well if they got more exposure to it. I took a friend of a friend who was over from Buffalo (big Bills fan) to a Rhinos game and he loved it, he really got into and and loved the hits and the rough and tumble. Think it was freshers week round Headingley as well which he enjoyed upon walking to the ground

I think the more coverage it receives and the "wembley" fixture have helped raise it's profile as you don't have to wait up till stupid o'clock on a sunday night to watch it on channel 4.

TBF though the majority on here seem very knowledgable about the sport and appear to have followed their teams for a while. I have been a Bucs fan since the 90's when I started watching the sport properly. That was down to me spending nearly a year of my life (not all at once) in the state of Florida (not always Orlando

Been my team since 1980 or whenever Channel 4 1st televised it.
Went to the playoff game in 1983 vs the Steelers ( Terry Bradshaw's last game). The year that we won the Superbowl with Marcus Allen.
Still watch it on tv but don't follow it as closely as many who've posted on here.
I prefer to watch it when John Madden's commentating.

We used to have a sticky NFL thread on here for years. It attracted visitors from all over the forums. Then it got moved to "other Sports" and sort of died off for those us of that rarely stray from our comfort zone of Southstander.

I've followed the Redskins since watching the first live televised Superbowl in the UK - 1982.

I've seen them live plenty times now and hope, one day, to see a Superbowl (hopefully with the Skins in).
