But isn't it south stand that is only half open due to the other half being on the verge of falling down? Or is that another stand?

nobody seems to know what the problem is. structeral we have been told. basically the stand is due to be knocked down and replaced and the club,rightly, don't want to spend a fortune in repairs at this stage

At least when a stand is falling down, we do something about it, unlike some clubs

Actually FYI its nowhere near half the stand, its about 1000 if that off the capacity of the stand itself. not that much at all. we would have sold the whole stand out if we had it. wait till the new southstand is up and then we will see whos ground is falling down.. come to think of it.. hows the progress for your new ground going?

Things are progressing fine with our shiny new stadium, thanks Frosties. Building work is due to start at Christmas. It's looking fab on the plans.

Apparently our season ticket sales are up 62% on this time last year because the club has let it be known that season ticket holders will get privileges when we move into the new stadium. So if Leeds are ever struggling for season ticket holders, they know what to do.

Looking forward to seeing what plans get put forward for our southstand, which should be soon, with a fans forum cropping up sometime this month according to GH at the beginning of this season. and I am looking forward to attending this.
No doubt the stand will be two tiers, with a seating tier on the top, based on the Carnegie, just hoping that they dont take any of the standing area away.

That was a big concern for our fans too. I can't see the club getting rid of your standing area. Being able to stand is crucial to a rugby league match IMO! Saints are using the areas behind the sticks for standing so it won't be the same for us but at least those who like to stand will get their chance.

Aye, think they should have kept it like the popular stand at yours tbh, and had terracing down the side instead of behind the sticks.. abit like wire.

Strongest squad we've had out for yonks. Much depends on whether Maurie is fit to play. Tricky one to see who'll miss out - will it be Eastmond to get a bit of size on the bench with Dixon in the backrow, or will he try Roby at 13 and Eastmond to the bench spot? I'd quite like to see the latter.
