I wouldn't judge anyone's performance against that opposition last night. Darlo were poor. But you can only beat what's put infront of you.

To be fair, I've seen Beckford miss plenty of chances as easy as that one. Thing with him is, you'd always back him to get/create another chance and end up scoring at least another one.

As for Robinson, whenever I've seen him he's always seemed to be more effective as a substitue. As a starting player he has a tendancy to drift out of games, which to me suggests a problem with fitness. Given that, I'd expect him to feature off the bench for the forseable future.

I hate to sound negative but I thought, apart from his goal, that Showunmi wasn't very good last night. He looked clumsy, for instance that shocking miss, and the time when he looked clean through but the ball then hit the back of his legs. I don't get to see leeds play that much so I don't know what hes like in other games so maybe im being harsh. I thought Grella was brilliant though.

Based on Grella's performance last night, I'd say that Showumni was 4th choice striker anyway, so I doubt we'll get to see him starting too many games. If the game last night had been more important he'd probably have started with Becchio anyway. So, in the long run, I can only really see big Enoch used as a 2nd half sub if we're in need of a goal late on. However, we could really do with signing another striker - when Beckford doesn't play we do look pretty weak up front at times.

Thought Grella looked like he could be more than useful for us this year.. only 21/22 as well i beleive..

It was on his favourd left peg mate. He panicked and rushed it, slicing it well wide.

Oh and Grella was head and shoulders the best player on the park last night. With abit more service he'd be extremely dangerous.

I thought he appeared to lack the confidence to have a go at goal himself.

I also thought that. He had lots of flicks, and nice touches though. Some were unneccessary though

He's a poor mans Becchio for sure.

Showunmi is no better than Kandol, it's a good job he is only a sub and not in the starting team every week. For such a big bloke he gets beat in the air more times than not and he's no good on the ball, far too clumsy and his shooting is laughable.
Was Beckford really injured last night, Grayson said he picked up a knock on saturday but he played the full game, was Grayson making sure he wasn't cup tied incase he's on his way? I hope not and god help us if he does leave but hopefully it was a knock he picked up and he'll be back for the weekend.

No I believe Grayson I think he genuinelly picked up a knock. He did sound in the interview before the game like he had been given a definite answer by the board that Beckford would be staying. Like they said the other night if he helps us get promoted then he leaves that would be the equivalent of getting a fee for him anyway and we already sold Delph so an extra 1.5 million won't make much difference!

Just saw Enochs goal on the Beeb site. Didn't look like a toe poke to me.
