It's not all about winning, as Leeds fans are starting to realise (I know, kettle and pot!). Wakey fans know that BV is crap, but still feel attached to it. On the other hand, Headingley, apart from the new stand, is equally crap and it's a lot harder to park. You can't compare it with grounds like the Keepmoat in Donny or even the Galpharm.

Fair enough,the parking has and will always continue to be a problem but parking at say,the Galpharm is shocking to get away from if there's a half decent crowd in,making street parking the only viable option.
Headingley as a stadium is nearly 120 years old but being redevelopmed at a steady rate and has and will always have a uniqueness that new so called super stadia will never achieve.
Now that's something you can NEVER build!!!!

And funnily enough IF the new stadium is built at the JT 30 site it would be rather ironic that not all that long ago,the site fell within the Leeds boundary until it was nicked by the WMDC!

I will agree it’s easier to park outside BV on a match day than it is at Headingley – that’s because no fekker bothers to turn up to your home games.

BTW both the Keepmoat and Galpharm aren't Rugby league grounds - more grounds that host Rugby league games. - HTH

Atmospere at Leeds not what it used to be.Hull KR is best place for atmosphere there fans are very vocal.

But you have to have a stadium that is fit for purpose - Headingley is a terrible ground for watching unless you are close to where the coaches sit or in the top tier of the Carneige there isn't an unobscured view of the pitch or able to actually see both try lines.

The fact for the premier club in SL cannot fill its main stand due to H&S because of it decrepit state says much - we are hardly in a position to critisise anyone's ground

Have faith in your acadamy - how much sweeter would success be if you'd earned it with players you've developed rather than just buying it. You wouldn't like Ryan anyway. I'd look somewhere else if I were you.

Leeds have a better record than most in that regard but there are times when the player is not ready or not there at all and then you have to import to remain at the top. If you don't you go backwards.

Interestingly to note, the clubs have had their annual vote on the salary cap in the last couple of days and the main thing that caught my eye was the ruling that players with 10 years service only count for half the cap.

Given that Leeds perhaps has the best nucleus of home grown, long term players on our books, won't this be of benefit to us ?
