The only time I've enjoyed the SS band was on Boxing Day when they were all obviously very hungover and very out of tune – p*ss funny.

the band are a great set of lads. i don't stand with them but i often chat to them before & after the games.

I do believe you are confused, the dominant westerly winds across the UK lead the 'scousers' to be upwind of west yorkshire

I have stood with the band loads of times and they aint a bad bunch of lads at all . Their squeaky high-pitched voices are funny , have us wetting ourselves almost ..Anyone who hasn't tried it go have a go . Stand with them for a match and then come back here and tell us it don't add to the atmosphere . if you want to get a song going the best way is to sing it on the step in front of them . i did it with jingle bells on boxing day .
Warning.. wear ear plugs if you stand in front of the drummer .
