There were a couple of dodgy calls from both teams, but I thought Hicks had a good game, overall. Anyway, can RL fans go one week without whinging about the referee, and talk about what a superb game of RL that was. Fast, intense, tense, dramatic. Everything we wanted the S8s to deliver. Well done to all involved.

I thought the ref was fair and let the game flow which made it the game it was?a classic . if anything he could have penalised Hudds a few times,and us,for holding down but let it go.infact, biggest decision of night imo, penalty at 14-8 infront of sticks to them was softest decison of all considering what he let go.I thought Hicks did ok for a ref i thought would have been well out of his depth tonight.

Hicks wasn't as bad as Robinson, Grix, or Kockjack. It's par for the course though with Yogi. Always has been a sour faced w@nker.

A shoulder charge has to be just shoulder. The giants player shoulders and grabs so tackle ok.

unbelievable we never gave up. After the mare of a game Hall had up to the 80th minute, I was glad he got the decisive score, should restore his confidence nicely for next week. Major downer is the injury to Ward, hopefully not as bad as it looked.

Also telling that Eddie whinged on and in about the ball steal penalty before the shoulder charge one. He even repeatedly called it the "penalty that should never have been"...they've just shown it post match and stevo pointed out (and Eddie conceded) that ellis' hand makes clear contact with the ball carrying arm so it was a penalty

The worst part of that tackle was Brough sliding his legs around Hardakers. That was totally unnecessary and could've caused serious injury. Was it Brough having a go at Hardaker following their spat earlier on? If it wasn't deliberate it was very reckless.

I haven't seen the game yet but it must have been a fantastic comeback.
As Wigan fan I have absolutely no problem with you guys winning LLS as you have unquestionably been the best team in the league week in week out.

I thought Hicks had a decent game TBH not quite in Ben Thalers class yet but he does seem to have a bit of rapport with the players. Nice to see Anderson magnanimous in defeat as ever
