Respect to McDermott if the unacceptable effort and attitude at Wakefield was the end of Webb - at least until after Wembley. Remains an if though at this stage.

Cannot believe that Webb is not in the 17. We all know that he messed up big time at Wakey, he let himself, the team and the coach down and I fell cetain that he knows that, and no doubt if he didn't he will have been made aware of it, but surely this game was a must for him.
I cannot see him playing again if he does not play at Catalan. If he plays this week and has a blinder great, if he messes up again goodbye - either way it is a win-win situation. He surely cannot play at Wembley without a game this week

I doubt there's anything wrong in the relationship, AFAIK Webb has always been a popular and well-liked part of the team. Personally I think McDermott wants to play v Catalans as close as possible to the team he'll play at Wembley, and due to Hardaker doing so well at full back that probably doesn't include Webb.

Agree with Him. It'll be really interesting to see what kind of attitude Leeds turn up with at Cats. My hopes for a wembley win would slide greatly if we get thumped because players are trying to make sure they don't get hurt.

As for Webb, I think BM has made the right call if he wasn't going to pick him for Wembley. He blew it with his supension more than a single bad performance IMO. As it is I'd expect him to get at least one more game post Wembley.

I agree............. Leeds need & want to finish 4th so this is a must win game for them. We are able to 'rest' players because we are at Broncos.

It could have worked out for us that Leeds play Widnes this week instead of last & Wire play Wigan instead of last week.

TS will be the happier of the 2 Coaches with the way the fixtures have panned out, but when the teams walk out next Saturday I guarantee every single Leeds player will be busting a gut to win the Cup.
