and a saxaphone plays it to a very good level. i'm chuffed for ryan, couldn't wish to meet a nicer lad, still comes down to oulton to watch his mates play and is very pro-active within the club helps out when he can. it looks like he will get his wish of a testimonial at leeds (if the league grant him one). i'd say he was now one of the five top earners at the club, not bad for someone who was never on a scholarship or in an academy from being 16 years old. and he was having trails with featherstone rovers when john bastin saw him and asked him to come to leeds.

Hall is like Vatuvei without the hype but with brains and genuine ball skills.

As good a player in his position as there is in SL and one of the few English players who would be a serious contender for a place in the Aussie side.

As for Ryan, Im very happy to see him at Leeds for the foreseeable future. The 3/4 line of BJB, Hardaker, Watkins and Hall is mouthwatering. There's at least 80 tries a season just there if they stay fit.

Spoke to Ryan today at season launch. Couldn't be more proud to be at Leeds a length of time that will take him through to 10 years.

Just been on that Love Rugby League on facebook only to be informed from a wigan fan that Ryan Hall is in fact the 6th best winger in Super League behind Pat Richards, Josh Charnley, Joel Monaghan, Jamie Foster and Tom Briscoe.

its easy for a winger to look great when comparing stats but ryan makes the improbable tries possible with the right combination of speed,power and strength while is also prepared to do the hard yards to relieve the props

Id say he's already eclipsed them, 30+ tries in three consecutive seasons, three grand final wins, and has proven himself on the world stage

I've said for a while that Hall was the best winger in England (some Leeds posters argued Briscoe was better last season btw).

I didn't see a better winger in Green and Gold or Black in white in the last 4 nations either.

Excellent news. I was a Hall doubter, but the 4N on top of last season upped my view of him from very good to amongst the best in the world. Easily the best winger in SL.

Also a pat on the back for GH. He seems to have learned from past departues to RU and is making sure that Leeds are doing everything possible to keep our best players.

He's been our most consistent player in the last 2 seasons, glad we've got him on a longer deal.

Hard to believe he's still only 24. We look like having one of our most exciting back-lines for many years..and for many years to come.
