We will be without Ryan Hall, Ben Jones Bishop, Danny McGuire, Jamie Peacock, Carl Ablett, Jamie Jones-Buchanan and Ryan Bailey. Zak Hardaker and Chris Clarkson, are back in training so i assume theyll play, Keith Senior has been invited to play for the game aswell. I doubt Brett Delaney and Brent Webb will play and Kylie Leulaui doesnt think he will be playing also.

Doubt very much Senior will be fit enough Frosties his re-hab was hit by an infection so i doubt he's ready.

Not sure I'd be playing Ward either - how much of an off-season will he have had given he's just played for England Academy against AIS?

Bailey, McGuire, Ablett and BJB must be knackered after their recent 4N's exploits so it's understandable why they shouldn't be considered.

It is conceivable that they may have trained full time from January to mid-November though isn't it? While I'm sure you train at high intensity all year round like a machine, I'm happy for them to have a bit of a breather. Especially since the purpose of the game is only to allow Fat Boy to put a turkey on his head while everyone else gets some post-Christmas fresh air and chats about what Santa brought them. A worthwhile exercise, given that many of the punters may still have enough festive alcohol in their bloodstreams to purchase a commemorative brick and/or "Gold" membership.

I think Smithy will be at Full Back as McDermott had previously said that Zak is getting a rest when talking about Chisholm playing.

Webb and Delaney wont be playing either.
At least McShane can show how good he is when he comes up against Wakefields new signing Danny Buderus.
I wouldn`t be suprised if he plays him off the park and you would never have guessed Buderus was playing.

Is Smithy gonnaturn up like he means it this season? I hope so as on his day he's a very useful player. Since his return from Union though we've seen nothing like his best!
