Why did we not keep the Peacock injury quiet rather than revealing one of our main players would be missing 10 days in advance?
He could have been 'rested' last Friday as the official line only to not appear in the squad 2 days before.
We gave round 1 to Wire.

Does anyone think Bluey or Smith would have told any of his players they are playing just yet? I can see the advantages for Smith to do so as its mainly regarding his half backs/hookers which could be important on the training field.

Not trolling. Why did we show our hand so early on?
Telling them Peacock wasnt playing 10 days before allows them to plan accordingly. Finding out 2 days before gives them precious little time. What if Smith had something in mind to neutralise Peacock? We gave him one less thing to worry about. |
