Was that 2001 success the same Brisbane team that was missing,Carroll, Ikin, Walters, Campion, Hancock, and Howard, from the team that won the Grand Final?



As far as my maths go, thats 6 players light from the so called tougher Brisbane team you played.

Only Ben Ikin was injured, the rest had left the club. So the Broncos had their full side out except for Ikin and weren't playing a load of reserve grade no hopers.

You'll notice I didn't include Jonathan Thurston as missing for the Dogs as he left the club too

You played a team that was inferior to the team that won the GF in Aus, the reason they got to play the WCC.

That is no different to what you and other jelous oppossition supporters have labled for the Rhinos success's.

With Melbourne Storm wearing this kit for the WCC i would guess that we are going to be in our away shirt.

They will be wearing the kit and every player playing in the game will sign their own shirt afterwards and auction it off via the clubs website when they return to Australia.

Course I did, but it would have been a novel excuse as to why the Storm failed to beat us.

As far as I was aware they wont be coming over. Im sure 3 or 4 "stars" have dropped out but cant remember who off the top of my head. I thing White is one of them though.

Slater will definately play, not sure about Inglis. I hope we can replicate our 2009 GF kicking game, turn Slater around and smash him all night. Have another JJB kick chase as in 2008 and smash the clever little prick!
