Its true - some guys have withdrawl issues - have not seen a game for a few weeks so a reserve team game on Boxing Day suddenly has some significance!! Wait until halfway through next season and they'll be wishing they had the same withdrawl issues

I know what you mean Sal, but I do not think that many people who have followed Leeds for more than a season think it is of any significance. It's about getting out of the house, catching up with friends and maybe getting a first look at new signings (if any

It's a fair assessment . I used to love the Boxing Day game, for me and I am guessing most people it's more of a day out and break from the festive season. Fresh air a few drinks catch up with a few mates and get to see a bit of rugby.

No he won't, Leeds players have often signed new improved contracts even though they've had a few years left on their current ones. If in 2 years time he is in the first team making an impact then he'll more than likely be given an improved deal.

Maybe our 2nd choice full back has been given a long deal because our 1st choice full back has told the club he's off at the end of his current contract??? (Let's hope not by the way)
