Not a patch on Castleford's return from their entire history I know but we all have to start somewhere and three in five will do for now.

We haven't spent a lot of money, thats just a myth that is still perpetuated throughout the five town districts in an attempt to explain why their SL clubs, with exactly the same budget as Leeds, have not produced one SL trophy (or even come close) since SL was formed.

Still it amuses us for you to think that way.

The team that spent more money than allowed are proof that money doesn't always buy success.

Never mind SL of the triumvirate (Cas, Wakey and Fev) only one has failed to win a top league Championship and it's neither Wakey or Fev.

Back to tonight's match i thought we started both halve's slowly and looked very flat.
Diskin's distribution was poor imo and we could of and should of really had at least 2 or 3 more tries.
On the up side when we did pass properly and played at our pace we looked threatening and on song.
Our defence held aswell overall.
Sinfield was announced as M.OM and i have no arguments with that but special mention's to Ali,webb and ryan hall who is getting better and better.
Also thought that gibson was looking fitter and scored a good try.
All in all plenty to improve on but plenty of positive's aswell roll on next week and the cup match!

Yes all tries are good even unopposed walk ins. I even thought it was an unnecessary pass from Webb who appeared able to cross unopposed himself rather than risking the pass.

In a way I suppose that's true. My outlook has been irreparably jaundiced by a personal tragedy and while life has to go on mine has changed forever and not for the better. Life sucks if I'm perfectly honest. Naturally (and inevitably) that is coming through occasionally in my postings.

I stick by my comment re the Gibson try though.

To be fair the whole team was a bit shoddy in the first 15 minutes.

Webb is still a long way from resuming normal service, but hey… it’s not like we’ve got a big match coming up or owt.
