You said the film had a serious storyline.

We are going round in circles!!!!!!

Audiences actually walked out in the second half of his gigs whilst shouting "Judas" at him, simply because he was moving away from "Blowing in the Wind" folky-type songs [urlhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electric_Dylan_controversy[/url
If anyone wants to "get into" Dylans early stuff, and there are some amazing songs in his repertoire, you could do worse than find a copy of "Greatest Hits Vol 2" released in the early seventies its got some huge songs on it.

What a steaming bag of sh[size=100i[/sizete this film is. Two and a half hours of my life I will never get back.
I wasn't expecting perfect historical accuracy, but (highlight small spoiler) =whitecertainly better than 4 yanks single handedly winning the war in a night that Tarantino has just dreamed up in his head! Aaand the 'humour' wasn't even funny.
All in all it was godawful...the acting was pretty good yes, but the plot was ridiculous, and it was easily an hour too long.

| A film you need to see?
Death Wish 3. (its on tonight too )
Everything a film needs.
# A mustaschioed leading man who says about 4 things all film, the rest he kinda just mumbles.
# Genero-thugs, you know, ALL gang members have pointy coloured hair, wear jeans, have peircings, carry improv weapons and have stupid names like "The giggler"
# A love interest that randomly appears in the story arc, is totally forgotten for 3/4's of the film, re-appears, then is promptly bumped off.
# Stupidly over-powered guns, I mean seriously who keeps 2 browning machine guns in their closet aswell as an anti tank weapon and a magnum in the apartment? Paul Kersey, thats who!!
# Crap "death" scenes ,dummy falling from the roof instead of stuntman, no one dies with their eyes open etc
# Advanced "hero" bullet dodging technology, yup, 15 guys with automatic machine guns open up on our hero and nothing, nada, nowt. But when he fires his magnum from 3 postcodes away.... yup, 1 bullet death EVERYTIME.
# Also check out the brief appearance of "deanna troi" topless and bill s preston esquire as genaro-thug 9280000000.
# An impossibly high body count. No one bats an eyelid that charlie bronson has just wiped out 3/4s of New York.
All in all a cracking film that could have only been made in the 80s.
I give it 7/10.

| I caught about 30 seconds of some martial arts cr@p film that was on last night where the hero was facing about 30 blokes in a cage fighting ring, and of course he beat them all with just the use of his fists and feet whilst they all had weapons of varying sizes.
...and here's the bit that happens in all films of this type (especially those crappy 1970s Kung Fu films)...
Hero is faced by 30 badmen all armed to the teeth
Hero picks out one at random and kicks his face in - badman falls to floor
Badman #2 has a go, hero kicks his face in - badman #2 falls to floor
Badman #3 steps forward, etc etc etc
Why don't they all rush him at once ?
Its bleedin obvious after he's done the first three in, but no, they all form an orderly queue and take their turn to be humiliated by a man with no armaments of any description...

I don't usually damage stuff, so if I did go see it at the flicks and didn't like it, I'd just run out of the room screaming, crying whilst chucking popcorn and pop whilst waving my arms in the air all the way to the exit and then the bus stop. I'd stop screaming & crying on the bus though, I have manners, I'd say thanks to the driver when getting off, then I'd immediately start crying and screaming arms in the air whilst running home.
