Holroyd injured in training a week before his 10 match ban was up. Has had an operation on elbow. Back for next season.

Jeez. The lad hasn't has much luck but he seems to be picking up injuries all the time. Zero appearances this season. Be brave to rely on him too much until he's proved he can stay fit for more than 5 minutes.

We simply cannot class him as one of our main 4 props at the moment, not until he proves he can string a long run of games together which hasn’t happened since his academy days . So many operations and long term injuries these last 4 years or so.
Shame for him as he has all the potential in the world…but potential always sat in the stands is no use to us.

You'd have to say that given form and experience elsewhere in the squad he is probably prop 5 next year. He needs a great pre-season and a really positive start to 2023. He does have real potential but there are now lots of young props across the league who have accumulated far more games than Tom.

Holroyd 14 games in 4 years is not a record that is sustainable in the long term if he is going to be one of our 4 starting props.
Oledski has played 70 games in the same period of time!
I know its a different game nowadays and much faster but we never seemed to get this many injuries when players used to knock 10 bells out of each other and then go on the drink Sunday night and Monday afternoon. Bizarre!

Jesus wept. Next season is huge for him. Simply must be able to play a number of games.

Players tipped as the future of the club.
And none of them can string a run of games together.

No bans.

Interesting isn't it. Thirteen players charged two weeks ago and bans everywhere. This week most of the players charged have no bans. Its almost as if things have been said behind closed doors....

The RFL would say the players have straightened up their act...

Or the play offs are getting nearer.

Could be the playoffs. I'd like to think that Martin's suspension drawing almost universal ridicule had an effect, but I suspect it was the sheer number of bans across the competition. If the panel was being consistent and using Martin's ban as a guide, you could probably ban half a dozen players every game.

Is this the first time we have picked a squad this year without someone banned?

I see a lot are complaining on twitter about Tomkins not getting a ban. Anyone got a link to the incident?

Cats player chips over Tomkins shoulders the player off the ball, should be a ban going on the others awarded. But we know its a lottery.

I just don't get it, the Austin one looked worse than sezers too.
