Why not? We've still got a healthy record against top 8 opposition this year. Wigan haven't won at Headingley since 2012. We had 3 good wins vs near opposition in Salford, Saints and Hull before resting for Wigan away. One defeat against what was a very good Hull performance and people start fretting so much.

| As wthe Pie Eaters will just follow on from where they left off 2 weeks ago.
Hope to eat humble pie if I'm wrong but in the last few games (exclude Salford) we have not a clue near the line at the moment!

| in fact it's bloody odd. a second row, a prop, a half back and a centre/second row. with 3 props in the 17 they could easily be totally gassed by the half hour mark

| Garbutt and ferress both injured. Obviously Galloway put as well.
JJB will effectively be playing prop at LF
I reckon keinhorst on the bench will offer cover for briscoe, keinhorst to centre, sutcliffe to fullback, Golding to wing. Or just straight sutcliffe to wing.

| Been like watching NFL the amount of Wigan passed which have been forward!!
Showed some real intent for 20mins but give Wigan ANYTHING and they kill you
Golding has had more attacking involvement & intent that half than the rest of the season put together... and has looked well for it

| Brilliant, exciting display straight from the hooter in 2nd half - a great way to sign off the South Stand for me as I'll miss Sts game
Golding showed attacking potential which was great to see after offering so little in that dept. all year - and it's clear he LOVES Leeds
Briscoe showed bravery to turn up but still looks broken, and Delaney having what you've got to imagine is his swansong
Ward has got to be captain for next year in my mind

| Really good attacking performance, and apart from a few poor one on one misses the defense was good also. We were really threatening with the ball, and when we win the
ruck and gain a quick PTB there's not many who can live with us.
There were a lot of outstanding individual performances, Cuthbertson was superb, Parcel played Micky Moo off the park, Ryan Hall was pivotal in getting us on the front foot so often, and Stevie Ward may well have had his best game for the club. I also thought Golding had his best game for Leeds, and looked to get involved a lot more, and was a threat whenever he carried the ball - especially in the attacking line. There were a couple of times where I think he ran the ball instead of passing it, but hopefully his decision making will improve with experience.
I also think Delaney did enough to keep his place, I'd certainly pick him over Ferres at the moment.
The only real negative for me was Ablett. I think he looks finished.

| Excellent performance from the team and the coach deserves some credit too!
I thought the whole team played well apart from two poor moments in defence from Sutcliffe but special mentions for Parcell, Ward, Hall, Golding, Mags, Cuthbertson, and the old fellas JJB and Delaney.

Worked pretty well all in.
Keinhorst added energy and played a key role in one try.
Lilley got 10.

| Very impressive tonight. So many strong performances. But really pleased for briscoe who looked very lively and that pass was outstanding.
Also excellent from Ryan hall who showed why he's the best English winger.

Yep, at his best there's not a HB in the league with the quality of skills he has. He's one of the past passers of the ball I've ever seen.

| Love it when we play with speed. Hate the ponderous grinding type. God help where we would be without Cuthbertson and Parcell, but end of day they are out there each week so just hope it continues. Both absolutely excellent. Great play also from Ward, Golding, and Hall. When Wigan held the ball and in good attacking range they did look more dangerous, but their problem they couldn't get much ball. Defensively at times we were out, but attacking wise we were a class above.
And to be fair, credit McDermott when he plays it that way, which I don't understand why he goes away from it when other players available. Stick to that style.
