| Played all World Cup games for Tonga at Stand Off and yes can kick goals
Seems to have a fair bit of pace
He's had a bit of a stop/start NRL career though (although still at an embryo stage) some of which has been down to getting messed around playing different positions but he's also been demoted to the reserve comp on occasions due to weight issues and form and he's admitted himself that he's had issues with his weight and when demoted has binged and drank.
Wests signed him to play full back to replace Tedesco but he's not exactly hit it off there and much prefers stand off role.
I think SL could suit him/his style and had this been the only half available I'd have been reasonably pleased, but given Blake Austin was available and strong rumours that we'd been talking to him before Warringtons interest, then it feels a bit like 'settling for second best' but then again I suspect Austin will be on at least twice the salary of our guy, so hardly surprising that we've chosen this option instead.
Let's wait and see how he goes for us

| He's a bit inconsistent but on his day can be devastating. Lethal with a broken defensive line in front of him.
I'm not sure it's in his game to be laying tries on for players around him but he should go well in SL either way given how poor the overall standard is nowadays.

| Good signing for mine.... He's very much a running threat with ball in hand - that's something we've been lacking recently, a ball player who has defences worrying about him running the ball first and foremost. That threat will open up space for our outside backs.
As others have said, he's not a game manager type half, but I'm not sure that's massively required in Super League nowadays. Myler can do that role sufficiently, whilst Tui will be out strike attacking threat.
He'll be a bit 'rocks and diamonds', but again, in Super League he'll be able to get away with that more. The game over here will suit his style.
I'd have preferred Blake Austin who's got a more rounded attacking game, but that being said, Austin has some serious defensive issues that aren't as prevalent with Tui.

| Fantastic signing, cant believe we'v got him. Not an out and out organing half but still levels above moon in that regard. Devastating footwork and pace and when on form he's one of the most exciting players around, even at NRL level. Very happy with this.

| Should go well in SL if he can keep his motivation. He’s got all the ability, but he’s lazy and refuses to put the hard work in off the field.
I wonder if he knows about how SL works over here in terms of promotion and relegation? I don’t think Leeds are guaranteed to be in SL next season given what I saw on Sunday.

| Interesting signing, looks like it confirms that Moon will leave (regardless of what YEP says) and that the club no longer see Sutcliffe as a halfback in the future.
Now we need to move on to the pack...

Would like to see Moon stay and go back to centre where is he is quality.
Sutty was never going to cut it at hb in SL though would like to see him in the second row or loose where I think he would go well.
Second row needs to be the place to fix next. Think we are ok at prop and hooker.

Moon defo gone to Titans
Next year under Sinfield is Sutcliffes last chance to cement a place at Leeds sadly i think he is looking more and more like not being super league standard. But we will see what Kev can do with him.

Couple of dynamic second rows yes, not sure we need a prop unless a real high quality player is available, If we go with Garbutt singo starting props, cuthbo at loose, that gives us Mullally oeledski and hopefully fully fit Peteru as bench/ back up, plus ormanroyd? and Holroyd.

| Agreed with the above, a prop and at least 2 backrowers required.
Also, Handley ain't the answer at centre. I'd like to see us strengthen there too.

| Great signing. Should suit the game over here very well. Goal kicker, fast, powerful runner. Very very good signing. Now as others have said, time to move onto the pack for 2 to 3 signings - I'd like to see left centre sorted also, Sutcliffe nor Handley are the answer but I suspect both will be in vying for that position next year.
We should have plenty of cap space.. Moon should be going (though I'd love him to stay and play left centre). Ablett, Delaney, JJB all will go. Cam Smith and Oledski should get improved deals, Galloway yet to be replaced so we should have room for at least 2 forwards to be brought in, I'd like 3 - 2 powerful back rowers and an impact prop.

| Very excited by the news of us signing Lolohea,he's a dynamic player and loves to run at broken field.
If Garbutt,Cuthbo,Singleton,Peteru,Mullally,Oledzki and Holroyd stay injury free and we sign a couple of line breakers in the back row then hopefully he will have plenty of open spaces to run at.
If he comes with the right attitude then we have got a very exciting prospect.
Quote ="tigertot"Very similar; he's never out of McDonalds after a few beers.'"
I love it when Tigers fans have a dig when things aren't going well at the Rhinos,Bless em
So as an incentive I've promised Lolohea an all you can eat McDonalds buffet as soon as he surpasses "Sick note" Benny Roberts' appearance record at the Tigers.......Shouldn't take long
Now if we want to go down the road of ridiculing overseas players that are here taking the P155 then Benny certainly takes the biscuit IMO as he is a total waste of salary cap space...."ooh i'm not fit boss
One other positive for Lolohea is that he also starts on 0 GF winners rings just like the rest of the Tigers squad

| At his best Austin's by far the better stand off. I think he'll be a real star in SL, and hats off to Wire for signing him. He has some real defensive issues, but they aren't going to be as obvious in SL. Whilst I would have liked Leeds to sign him, assuming he's on mega bucks I'm just glad he's in SL. He's also eligible for England, although hasn't put his hand up yet - but who knows by the next World Cup he might be a great foil for Widdopp.
Lolohea looks Ok from what I've seen, and has played pretty well for Tonga at 6, including being a reasonable goalkicker. He's had problems with fitness, and hasn't set the NRL on fire at 6, probably more suited to full back in the NRL. Its a start to rebuilding at least.

This is an exciting prospect for England, who could finally win a major trophy against Australia, with another quality half.
