I think burrow did enough on Friday to say he should start in the halves (certainly haven't said that in a long time). He kept it pretty simple, put one nice kicks in to hall and I can only remember him running up his own backside once.

By far our worst period in the game was when Segeyaro came off, burrow went into dummy half and Lilley ended up as the lone half, this needs to be avoided at all costs IMO.

I agree he was poor but we looked better in terms of shape with an organiser out there, so its a tough call of who to start in the halves, we just need to make sure we play with two this time!

Keinhorst should start over Ablett and Achurch (or Ferres), he sured up our defines again when on last week, we need to pick players on form not reputation
Singleton was also good and could start at 13 over JJB, but is also useful as an impact player

Surely depends on if McGuire is fit to return.....if not then Lilley has to play otherwise we'd be c0cking about with the balance again.



Think Singleton could possibly start at 13 again the way McDermott was praising him post match however I'd like to see us line up like this in the forwards.....(if Ferres is fit we know he'll be picked)

That way we could interchange players more naturally.... - The two starting props go off after 20/25 mins for Singleton & Cuthbertson.
- toss of a coin who starts at 13 between the two workhorse players, interchange them after 25/30 mins so they don't do silly extended minutes.
- leaves a 2nd rower to interchange with the starters. Achurch offers more in attack, Keinhorst better defender and provides cover for the backs.

However we'll probably see McDermott do that weird style of one prop off after 20 mins, sub him back on after 26 mins.

Not that it will make a difference to the team, probably. But what is the point in naming a 19 with 4 that would be playing wing in it? wouldn't we be better naming someone like Sam Hallas or someone to get the experience and feel a part?

Yeah I can't see why Golding is included unless they have a couple of injury doubts in the backs (or halves and Sutcliffe needs to switch there)

It's Joel who's injured not Sam.

Wane said he doubts Tomkins, Charnley or Sarginson will play but will all face late fitness tests.

Joel is done for the season but Sam is doubtful for this game. Been spotted wearing a protective boot at the weekend apparently and the CC semi is 2 weeks away so they won't want to risk him.

How long was SoL banned for? the two games after EGP?.

I worry that George Williams is coming back into form. We've had problems with him in the past.

How come EVERY time we play Wigan they have a massive injury crisis that week, players will have to play with legs hanging off, Shaun Wane moans that he cant find 17 fit players????

What I am struggling with is how come a team with so many injuries throughout the season can be top of the table?
