| I'd expect 2/3 changes to be honest I'm sure I saw Kylie getting his calf iced up ay F/T and I'd be surprised to see Mags play I've done my rib cartilage before and it was more painful than when I dislocated my shoulder its agony.
I think we should still be good enough to win it's also our last regular SL home game so it should be a cracking atmosphere.

| Saints seem to win more often against us when they are decimated by injuries. I think they have to be favourites but anything is possible. Difficult to call.

| Saints have injuries but they're still a strong side. Apart from Walsh, Lomax and Wilkin who's missing from their first choice line up?

| Depends how focused we are. If we win this top spot is still in our grasp, saints have a tough run in. Think we will be up for it now All the way to the GF

| We've effectively had 3 days to prepare for this, saints have had nigh on 2 weeks, knowing a win will put them in a very strong position to finish top. They've got some key players injured, we've just won the CC. Sometimes winning the CC puts teams on a real confidence high and they carry great form on from it, sometimes they are flat and have a ''CC hangover''. All in all this game is a devil to try and figure out.
If we are to win 2 from our last 3 games, beating wigan and hull will benefit us more than saints and hull. It's vital we take points off wigan if we are to finish in the top 2, whereas I think 4 points is too much to overturn to finish above saints.
It's too tight with too many possibilities to try and get tactical with who you would rather play in the 1st round like wigan did last year with huddersfield so we just need to try and win as many games as possible.

How confident would you be if you had Hardaker, Sinfield and Burrow missing? And missing for the rest of the season, not just a one off match?

| This promises to be the closest finish to a SL season yet. With 6 teams in the running and most contenders meeting one or more rivals before the playoffs it should provide plenty of excitement. IMO we should go into full knock out/playoff mode starting with Fridays Saints game. If we can beat the Saints and win our other two we should finish at least 2nd and then if Saints lose 2 out of their 3 matches left then we finish top. So it is in our hands.
The game after a Cup final win is often a difficult one and although Saints are missing 3 key players they have a good squad and they will also be going all out for the top spot ....so another tough match to savour.
If all are fully fit I think Mac will go with his first choice starting 13 however I would not be surprised to see both Singleton and Achurch on the bench

| Getting your excuses in nice and early Saints fan?
Our lads are probably still hungover so that should level things out.

| The Rhinos players have been on the lash big time until Monday of this week
If the Saints can't turn us over, even with their major injury problems, then there are no excuses IMO as they can still field a strong enough 17 to beat us on Friday as our bunch of p155 heads have had only had a 3 day preparation this week

Sick of saints fans playing injury top trumps.
You've had 2 weeks to prepare, leeds have had 3 days and were probably still hungover on tuesday. You beat leeds earlier in the season with a alot of injuries and the circumstances weren't weighted in your favour as much. Even with the injuries you are still a strong.
Basically stop trying to get your excuses in early.
lose - oh look we had injuries, was always gonna be a loss anyway.
win - Oh look we beat you with a weakened team, look how good we are.

| I would go:
Hardaker
Briscoe
Watkins
Moon
Hall
Sinfield
Burrow
Kylie
Aiton
Peacock
JJB
Ablett
Delaney
Singleton
Achurch
Bailey
Sutcliffe
see no sense in risking McGuire, let him rest up fully for the wigan game.

| I would guess Saints will reply on their big pack with Roby sniping down the middle and Manu and Soliola looking for breaks out wide. Our pack has to neutralise their big fellas and not allow Roby any space. Once again field position and control are crucial and we don't want to be giving them any easy kick returns.

| At this stage Leeds cannot afford to rest players, if they don't win tonight next week will not matter. If McGuire is fit to play he needs to play, that Saints side still looks a tough proposition. Leeds will need to be at their best to win.

I was feeling we would win fairly comfortably but considering how we have performed recently in the rain, I'd be more surprised if we win now.
That said, as others have pointed out, if they have all beign on the sauce all week and still hungover, maybe rain + blurred vision = keeping ahold of the ball.
You never know!

| Plus as well actually, carrying that beer / champagne soaked trophy around after the game on Sat and on the homecoming on Monday when it was raining - I didn't notice any drops then, despite the wetness of the trophy.
With all that practice in wet conditions with a shiny trophy, maybe we are actually well prepared this time for keeping ahold of the ball later!
Come on Leeds.

| 16 of those players deserved more than they got tonight. Moment of madness from Joel Moon. Plenty of guts thereafter. Saints held their nerve and did enough.
