To be perfectly honest over the last 3 weeks the better side over 80 minutes have lost against them. I went to watch them at Wakey with a pal of mine and they really didn't deserve to win. Lets not go there with the obstruction last night!!

There is no question that at the moment Wigan are winning, but I am not saying they will not win anything this year, but it is the end of the season that it counts. Last year they were on a similar run and then they meet Leeds In CC semi and Play off semi and lost both. Two years ago nobody said the Wire could be stopped, till they meet Sir Kev. Remember at Manchester they could have lost if had not been for the man in sky strange decision. They could get a crop of injuries. Remember he who laughs last, laughs the loudest.

Remember not too long ago Leeds played almost a complete team of academy players against CAS and won.That was in the day's when Wigan were full of under achieving overseas players and local youngsters couldn't get a game

You're on the wind up as no Wigan fan thinks this. We're all amazed we are playing so well after losing so many stars last season.



Yet we still beat you. And have won 13 games in a row.... They must of all been rubbish!

There's plenty of good teams this year that have massive chances to win it this year, Hudds,Wire,Wigan,Catalan and the champions Leeds.

You're right and they were dark days for Wigan.

Getting rid of quality youngsters to bring in over the hill Aussies was a real stain on the club but thankfully those days are long gone.

I hope this thread isn't going to be like those from circa 2011 I cringed and thought here we go again.

I just think it's nice to see the obsession with Wigan that some Leeds fans appear to have. It shows we are doing well.

On this occasion yes,but In 2011 it was a couple of Wiganers who came on here and we all took the bait.Well I for one will be trying very hard not bite if it starts again

Central park was ok,but first time me and Tom went to the DW we got completely lost coming home.I sampled some nice pubs asking directions,Tom was driving

The best way to get out of Wigan is never to go into it.

Rogues seems to get everywhere.By that I mean everywhere on rlfans,and not like gets everywhere like dog pooh

It's simple, the best way to get there is follow a car with Wigan fans in and the best way to get out is follow some Rhinos fans. This has worked nearly every time I've been, except that time we followed some Wigan dude who was picking his mate up before the game. Now that was awkward.

We don't hear much from Saints or Bulls fans on here any more. We usually don't hear from Giants fans after June or July.

It'll be nice to liven the place up a bit and it'll be good if the on field rivalry can get to where we were with Siants a few years back.

Rivalry is often determined by the degree of competitiveness which exists between two opposing entities. Considering it's currently 5-0 to Wigan whenever they and Leeds meet in a Final, I'd suggest a long period of Leeds "brewing" is required before it may be deemed a proper little rivalry. Right now it's nothing more than envious obsession with others shadows.

Ah ,but like has been said before Sl 2004,2007,2008,2009,20011,2012,and they ain't even got near Saints and Braddy yet.

Along with headingley Central Park had the best atmosphere of any rugby league ground, over the years I have seen some epic games over at Central Park .
Two which stand out in memory are two semi finals one which we won, saints and one in which we were beaten out of sight which was the widnes game.
The new stadium sadly lacks atmosphere . As I have previously remarked at the moment wigan are a well drilled side, the passing of the ball is crisp and precise. Methinks its down to Harris and not wane.
Come the business end of the season I think we are able to match anybody in a sudden death match.

It's not a matter of being "rubbish", it depends on which teams are actually taking the regular season seriously. IMO just Wiggin and Hudds. Wire have coasted thus far and have only wracked up a couple of cricket scores because of the weak opposition of the last two weeks. Leeds have achieved their target of 5th place and 'ull seem to be finding form at the right time.
