I agree tad, also another shocking team selection, hall going off injured, we had no cover, despite bish and hardaker being available, why not go with webb, hardaker, smith, delaney, hall, to start with, then when hall goes off, you can move smith to the wing, abbo to the centres then atleast youve got some pace in the backs still. i know you can't predict hall getting injured but a smarter coach with the options he now has in the backs would have cover in the 17 incase injuries occur like tonight.
I feel the players are trying really hard plenty of enhusiasm, but their not smart enough with the ball, no movement off the ball just too predictable. webby kicking on the first i could believe, that apart i thought he was one of our better players tonight

| One moment that summed it up for me was, during one of our many possessions in Bradford's 30, we got to the 6th tackle, and Peacock had to put up a high ball. So blooming clueless.
We could have played for another hour, and we wouldn't have scored a try in that second half.

| Takes some doing losing at home to Bradford but we've done it! 5th home defeat of the season. Good luck with the marketing people for season tickets for 2012! I remember thinking in the first game at Cardiff how exciting the season could be. I felt we'd ship in points but score plenty too. How wrong can you be!? When lauititi threw the ball forward under no pressure to a White shirt it summed it all up late on. Lots of sideways running, little organisation. The effort seems there to be fair but what the hell is done on the training ground??

I recall seeing that in at least 3 games this season. When we have so many (average) kick options, how the hell do we get to a situation where a prop is kicking the ball on the last tackle?
I would say that the coach is a clown, but frankly it's now that bad that this comment would be offensive to clowns...

It looked in the first few minutes like the game plan was to go wide early. A good tactic against a Bradford side who are pretty average in the outside backs. Unfortunately we didn't the conditions or personnel to play that game plan and clearly had no plan B other than Sinfield, Jonesy and Buderus trying to use their experience to drag other players around with them

Yup. The depressing thing was how clueless we looked. The players aren't *that* clueless. It takes coaching to make professional athletes look that bad.
You could throw a stick in the street and hit someone who'd do a better job for Leeds than McDermott.

| One of the worst games i have seen in a long time.
Need to freshen up the squad with newer young british players, and not ageing Aussies. Only positive for me out of that game was the performance of JJB, Ablett and Peacock

| Dire game between two dire teams. The Bulls have realised they are inept and so take their penalty goal kicks. We still think we're as good as when Tony Smith was coach and so ran ours. Hence we lose. We need to realise how bad we are.
I thought there was an interesting cameo at the end. As well as Buderus played he again ended the game with a brain fart and threw away our last chance (though I am sure plenty will leap to his defence/excuse soon enough). Diskin on the other hand ended the game composed, calm and in control, fittingly taking the last tackle of the match with a smile.
Disspointing result but happy for two of our longest and most loyal servants now at the Bulls, Disco and Franny.

| What about when we broke through near end only to stab it through for ablett to chase ? He aint no scott donald is he and totally another wrong decision. The players all harp on about how things are good and coach is good but something is not right at the club and GH needs to act now.

| we need freshening up and i think GH knows that or i hope he does, we were poor, but i felt we were again like so many times this season our worst enemy, giving a away silly penalties, we did have enough chances to win, but were too dumb with the ball! i think we'll see ali, senior, kirke, leave at the end of the year i'd be tempted to give webb another year he annoyed me big stle kicking on the first, but that aside he looks our most threatening attacking option at the moment.

Arguably pushed out of the door?
As soon as he'd pocketed a huge wad of testimonial cash, he reneged on his one-year contract extension for extra wonga at the Bulls.
I doubt he'll lose much sleep over getting booed tonight.

| Two extremely poor teams on show tonight and neither will be in the shuffle at the end of the season....the second half became the STEVE GANSON SHOW and was the difference on the night, the guy is an arrogant demonstrated by the penalty from the kick off after Bailey had previously applauded him for turning a scrum into a penalty next to the sticks. If you watch any kick off there's always a player in advance of the ball.
That said we were against an average side, the team selection was crap, we have no kicking game and no direction or game plan from the coach...time to go I'm afraid he's just not up to it

Buderus was great tonight, as was Diskin.
Whatever's broken at Leeds it isn't the hooker and Diskin being here would have changed little IMO.
Don't start another of these debates...please!

| Radio Leeds when announcing the team at 7.15pm said Hardaker was being rested as he had played 7 consecutive games. They got this information from Mr Lowes. He's a winger who will be capable of playing every week. Is the numpty of a coach going to rest Hall after he has next played 7 games. Hardaker as I recall hasn't put a foot wrong since he was first picked; takes the high bomb, no one gets passed him and he's a sharp finisher. As Ice Man says as a result of his omission there was no pace in the backs tonight.
The team at present just don't know what to do when in possession. There are no moves, no structure or organisation. The players bang away in the opposition half and get no where and this caused the indiscipline in the second half. Don't blame Ganson, yes there were a few "iffy" decisions but he was not the reason for the four second half penalties that won Bulls the match. As it was raining and we were getting nowhere with the ball perhaps we should have converted our penalties into 2 points.
The rediculous thing is the coach always sees the match different to everyone else. He quoted last weeks match at Wrexham as one for the purist which he is. The match was dire and whilst the conditions again didn't help Crusaders had far more "go forward" than we had and were the better team.
The thought occurred to me tonight during Tony Smith's reign we played away at Quins one Saturday, temperature approach 75 and McDermott used all his sub changes by half time. Needless to say the Quins were on their last legs. The changes weren't forced on to him either.
A decent coach will get far more out from the players we have, even though some are ageing. As for Weller he won't drop him, McD thinks sun shines out of his a*se. If McD continues we will continue to struggle and though Buderus was fully committed to the cause tonight he won't want to stay next season to play in a team so disorganised. God help us next week!
